Nootcharin Sukkhongdumnoen
Nootcharin Sukkhongdumnoen ( th, นุชจรินทร์ สุขคงดำเนิน; born February 10, 1978 in Bangkok) is a Thai taekwondo practitioner, who competed in the women's featherweight category. She claimed the silver medal in the 51-kg division at the 1998 Asian Games in her native Bangkok, retrieved a bronze at the 2003 World Taekwondo Championships in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, and later attained a fifth-place finish in the 58-kg category at the 2004 Summer Olympics, representing her nation Thailand. Sukkhongdumnoen qualified for the Thai squad in the women's featherweight class (57 kg) at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, by defeating Uzbekistan's Irina Kaydashova for the top spot and securing a berth from the Asian Olympic Qualifying Tournament in her native Bangkok. Irina Kaydashova ( uz, Ирина Кайдашова; born April 2, 1985, in Tashkent) is an Uzbek taekwondo practitioner, who competed in the women's featherweight category. She became one of the first taekwondo fighters in history to represent Uzbekistan at the 2004 Summer Olympics, and later attained a quarterfinal finish in the 53-kg division at the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou, China. Kaydashova qualified for an all-female Uzbek taekwondo squad in the women's featherweight class (57 kg) at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, by placing second behind Thailand's Nootcharin Sukkhongdumnoen and granting a berth from the Asian Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Bangkok, Thailand. Sonia Reyes
Sonia Reyes Sáez (born 30 October 1977) is a Spanish taekwondo practitioner, who competed in the women's featherweight category. She was born in Guadalajara. Considered one of the world's top favorites in her respective category, Reyes picked up a total of five medals in her career, including three bronze from the World Taekwondo Championships, and finished fourth in the 57-kg division at the 2004 Summer Olympics. Throughout her sporting career, Reyes trained full-time for Club Sung Dae Kwan in Madrid, under head coach and master Song Dae-young. Nia Abdallah
Nia Nicole Abdallah (born January 24, 1984) is the 2004 Olympic silver medalist and the first U.S. woman to officially medal in Taekwondo at the Olympic Games. In 2007, Abdallah was inducted into the Taekwondo Hall of Fame. Early life Abdallah was born and raised in Houston, Texas, and was introduced to Taekwondo by her stepfather when she was nine years old. After graduating from George Washington Carver High School in Houston, she went to live in Colorado Springs.
