Nonkululeko Gobodo
Nonkululeko Gobodo (born 10 October 1960, Mthatha, Eastern Cape) became the first black female Chartered Accountant in South Africa in 1987. In 2023 she was appointed Chancellor of Walter Sisulu University. Early career Following her education, Nonkululeko articled at KPMG, and was offered a partnership, which she turned down. She then worked for Transkei Development Corporation, eventually rising to become Chief Financial Officer. Following that, she founded her own medium-sized accountancy firm Gobodo Incorporated. She was instrumental in leading the 2011 merger of Gobodo Incorporated with SizweNtsaluba VSP to form SizweNtsalubaGobodo, South Africa's largest black-owned accountancy firm. In 2014 she stepped down from the role of executive chair of the company. Nonkululeko Mlaba (born 27 June 2000) is a South African cricketer who plays as a slow left-arm orthodox bowler. She made her international debut for the South Africa women's cricket team in September 2019. Career In September 2019, she was named in South Africa's squad for their series against India. She made her Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) debut for South Africa, against India, on 24 September 2019. Nonkululeko Merina Cheryl Nyembezi, also Nku (born 22 March 1960), is a South African engineer, businesswoman and corporate executive who was appointed Chairperson-designate at Standard Bank Group and Standard Bank of South Africa, on 10 May 2022.
