NonStop Television was a Scandinavian television company, part of Turner Broadcasting System, packaging and distributing a number of specialty channels, mostly to the Scandinavian region. The company is a part of Millennium Media Group. The first channel, now a Nordic version of E!, launched in September 2000. The channels that was owned or distributed by NonStop Television are: *Star! Scandinavia, entertainment channel with a name licensed by CTVglobemedia (formerly CHUM Limited) with most of its content taken from CTVglobemedia channels. Broadcasting to the Nordic countries, Baltic countries and Benelux. *Showtime Scandinavia, action movie channel. The name is licensed by Showtime Networks, Inc., but the channels share no content. Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. (alternatively known as Turner Entertainment Networks from 2019 until 2022) was an American television and media conglomerate. Founded by Ted Turner and based in Atlanta, Georgia, it merged with Time Warner (later WarnerMedia) on October 10, 1996. As of April 2022, its assets are now owned by Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD). TNT was a commercial television channel in Sweden. The channel was launched by the tabloid newspaper Aftonbladet as Aftonbladet TV7 on 9 October 2006. Aftonbladet sold the channel in late 2007. In August 2008, it was sold once again and is since owned by NonStop Television. On 2 March 2011 the channel was relaunched as TNT7, following Turner Broadcasting System's purchase of Millennium Media Group, the owner of NonStop Television. The channel is now called TNT since the seven was dropped from the name on 21 March 2012. In October 2018, Turner announced that TNT Nordic would be shut down as a television channel and would be turned into a subscription video on demand (SVOD) platform. Voom HD Networks is a suite of 25 original high-definition television channels owned by AMC Networks. The channels were produced in Crystal Clear Hi-Definition with Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound and were the largest suite of HD channels in the world. Voom HD was a television channel providing high-definition programming from various genres. The network was available in 35 countries in Europe and Asia. Programming was taken from the various stations owned by Voom HD Networks in the United States and includes '' Full Frontal Fashion'', '' Earth Diaries'' and '' Gamespotting''. Silver (TV Channel)
Silver was a movie channel, movie television channel broadcasting to the Nordic countries broadcasting quality movies, "World cinema" and independent films. The channel was managed by Scandinavian television broadcaster NonStop Television, part of Turner Broadcasting System, Turner Broadcasting. The owners NonStop Television applied for a license to broadcast a channel with the working name "NonStop Filmfestival" in the Swedish digital terrestrial network in the autumn of 2005. The government gave the channel a license in February 2006, at the expense of the owner's other movie channel, Showtime Scandinavia.
