Nolan McGuire
Nolan McGuire is a guitarist and tour manager from Chicago. Career The Parker Brothers Nolan's earliest work was with The Parker Brothers. He also performed on a tour with Digger. The Honor System McGuire played on The Honor System's debut album '' Single File'' and subsequent EP '' 100% Synthetic''. Whereas vocalist Dan Hanaway tended to play lower and more rhythmic parts, McGuire typically contributed higher-register arpeggios and leads, frequently featuring bending, sliding and double-stops. However, neither guitarist was limited to lead or rhythm; trading and interweaving of guitar parts played a large part in the band's sound. Nolan left the band some time before their second album, '' The Rise And Run'', and was replaced by Tyler Wiseman, whose arrival heralded a shift of the band's sound in a heavier direction, although the interlinked guitar parts remained a key feature. Alkaline Trio
Alkaline Trio is an American punk rock band from Chicago, Illinois. Since 2001, the band has consisted of Matt Skiba (vocals, guitar), Dan Andriano (vocals, bass) and Derek Grant (drums, vocals). Founded in late 1996 by Skiba, bassist Rob Doran, and drummer Glenn Porter, Alkaline Trio released its debut single, "Sundials", in 1997. Following its release, Doran departed from the band and was replaced by Andriano. The band subsequently recorded an EP, ''For Your Lungs Only'' (1998), and its debut studio album, ''Goddamnit'' (1998). Following the release of the band's second album, '' Maybe I'll Catch Fire'' (2000), Porter left the band and was replaced by Mike Felumlee for its subsequent album, ''From Here to Infirmary'' (2001). Recording Bassist Dan Andriano notes that: It was kind of the same as always. We just spent a little more time in all areas of the recording process. We spent a little more time in pre-production, where we worked on the songs with Jerry. Before we started recording, he came out to Chicago and ame to practicesand he was listening to the songs, and we had an opportunity to ask him what he thought. It kind of gave us more time to re-work some stuff that we thought could have been a little better but were a little stumped on, as Jerry had good ideas for the songs. One Man Army is an American punk rock band that was formed in San Francisco, California, United States, in 1996 and separated in 2005 and reunited in 2011. The band was discovered by Billie Joe Armstrong while playing in an East Bay club, and their debut album '' Dead End Stories'' was the first release on Adeline Records, Armstrong's label. History Originally consisting of Jack Dalrymple (guitar, lead vocals), Brandon Pollack ( drums), and James Kotter ( bass), the members at the time of separation were Dalrymple, Heiko Schrepel (bass, backup vocals) and Chip Hanna (drums).
