Nolan Keeley
Nolan Keeley (born 24 May 1951) is an English former footballer who scored 40 goals from 311 appearances in the Football League playing for Scunthorpe United and Lincoln City. He played in midfield. Keeley was born in East Barsham, Norfolk. He played non-league football for Great Yarmouth Town before joining Scunthorpe United late in the 1972–73 season, as the club were relegated to the Football League Fourth Division. He became a regular member of the starting eleven over six years, eventually making 259 appearances in the league, before moving on to fellow Fourth Division club Lincoln City in January 1980. East Barsham, Norfolk
East Barsham is a village and former civil parish of Barsham, in the North Norfolk district, in the English county of Norfolk. In 1931 the parish had a population of 144. On 1 April 1935 the parish was abolished to form Barsham. The village is one of four settlements within the parish of Barsham. The other villages are North Barsham, West Barsham and Houghton St Giles. East Barsham is 3 miles north of the town of Fakenham, 23.8 miles west of Cromer and 117 miles north of London. Relegated
In sports leagues, promotion and relegation is a process where teams are transferred between multiple divisions based on their performance for the completed season. Leagues that use promotion and relegation systems are often called open leagues. In a system of promotion and relegation, the best-ranked team(s) in the lower division are ''promoted'' to the higher division for the next season, and the worst-ranked team(s) in the higher division are ''relegated'' to the lower division for the next season. Cambridge United
Cambridge United Football Club is a professional association football club based in the city of Cambridge, England. They compete in EFL League one , the 3rd tier of the English football league system. The club is based at the Abbey Stadium on Newmarket Road, approximately {{convert, 2, mi, 0 east of Cambridge city centre. The stadium has a capacity of 8,127, made up of terracing and seated areas. The club was founded in 1912 as Abbey United, and took the name Cambridge United in 1951. The Football League Fourth Division was the fourth-highest division in the English football league system from the 1958–59 season until the creation of the Premier League prior to the 1992–93 season. Whilst the division disappeared in name in 1992, the 4th tier of English football continued as the Football League Third Division, and later became known as Football League Two. The 1972–73 season was the 74th completed season of The Football League. Liverpool championship win meant they claimed their first trophy since 1966 in Bill Shankly's penultimate season as manager despite competition from Arsenal, Leeds United, Ipswich Town and Wolverhampton Wanderers. Manchester United sacked manager Frank O'Farrell after 18 months in charge. He had been unable to mount a title challenge. Tommy Docherty, the 44-year-old Scottish national coach and former Aston Villa manager, was appointed as his successor. Midfielder
A midfielder is an outfield position in association football. Midfielders may play an exclusively defensive role, breaking up attacks, and are in that case known as defensive midfielders. As central midfielders often go across boundaries, with mobility and passing ability, they are often referred to as deep-lying midfielders, play-makers, box-to-box midfielders, or holding midfielders.
