The Nokia 7230 is a metallic grilled 3.5G slider phone from Nokia. It was released in 2010. Specifications Hardware and design The Nokia 7230 is a slim slider with a glossy, curvaceous design. The sides have a chrome-like finish with a dedicated button for the camera and a matte textured plastic battery cover on the back. While the phone looks deceptively solid, once you take it in hand, its flimsy low-end nature becomes evident. The screen is surrounded by a finely textured panel that covers two soft keys, a send button and an end button with a five way d-pad within. This panel comes in pink or graphite, as does the battery cover. It sports a high resolution vertical display that supports up to 262 thousand colors. USB On-The-Go (USB OTG or just OTG) is a specification first used in late 2001 that allows USB devices, such as Tablet computer, tablets or smartphones, to act as a host, allowing other USB devices, such as USB flash drives, digital cameras, computer mouse, mouse or computer keyboard, keyboards, to be attached to them. Series 40
Series 40, often shortened as S40, is a software platform and application user interface (UI) software on Nokia's broad range of mid-tier feature phones, as well as on some of the Vertu line of luxury phones. It was one of the world's most widely used mobile phone platforms and found in hundreds of millions of devices. Nokia X5-00/01 are a pair of smartphones in the X-Series of Nokia's mobile phones. The original China model comes with Symbian OS 9.3, while the worldwide model uses S60 3rd Edition FP2. Release history The X5-00 was released in China in the second quarter of 2010 as the X6 could not be released in that region. This is due to China is still using the partial-3G TD-SCDMA mobile network for their mobile phones unlike other selected countries which started to use the 3.5G HSDPA mobile network.
