Nokia 6102
The Nokia 6101, 6102, and 6102i are a line of popular Nokia mid-level clamshell cellphones that operate on GSM-850/1800/1900 MHz (some markets are GSM-900/1800/1900 MHz) frequencies released between middle 2005 and early 2006. The line was given the nickname Ediphix by Nokia employees. The differences between the 6101 and 6102 are very small and the only visible differences are the style of the keypads and front bezel plate. The 6102i is an updated version of the 6102 featuring Bluetooth capabilities and increased memory space. Another updated version of the 6101/6102 is the Nokia 6103. Announced in 2005, the Nokia 6101 was also one of the last Nokia phones that still had an external antenna. The flip phone or clamshell is a form factor of a mobile phone or other device which is in two or more sections that fold via a hinge. If the hinge is on a long edge the device is more likely to be called clamshell than flip phone (e.g., Nokia Communicators). The Nokia 6103 is a mobile phone based on the Nokia Series 40 platform and the Nokia 6103 builds upon the popularity of the 6101. It features a TFT display supports up to 65,536 colors (128 x 160 pixels).The phone also has a secondary external mini display that supports up to 4,096 colors (96 x 65 pixels).
