Noeline Brown
Noeline Mabel Brown (born 3 October 1938), credited also as Noelene Brown, is an Australian actress and comedian. She has appeared in numerous films, television shows, theatrical productions and radio programs dating back to 1959. Life and career Brown gained local notoriety in Sydney as a cast member of the famous Phillip St Revues and the popular melodrama productions at the Music Hall, a Sydney theatre-restaurant, in the early 1960s. She came to national prominence after joining the cast of the pioneering Australian satirical TV sketch comedy series ''The Mavis Bramston Show'' (1964 -1968). After a stint in the UK she secured a regular role in the hit TV sitcom ''My Name's McGooley, What's Yours?'', starring alongside Gordon Chater, John Meillon and Judi Farr. ''My Name's McGooley, What's Yours?'' is a popular Australian situation comedy series produced by ATN7 from 1966 to 1968. Premise The situation involved a young couple, Wally and Rita Stiller (John Meillon and Judi Farr), living in Balmain with Rita's father Dominic McGooley (Gordon Chater). Also in the regular cast were Stewart Ginn, Robert McDarra, and later Noeline Brown joined as Wally’s sister. ''Walkabout'' is a 1971 adventure survival film directed by Nicolas Roeg and starring Jenny Agutter, Luc Roeg, and David Gulpilil. Edward Bond wrote the screenplay, which is loosely based on the 1959 novel ''Walkabout'' by James Vance Marshall. Set in the Australian outback, it centres on two white schoolchildren who are left to fend for themselves in the Australian outback and who come across a teenage Aboriginal boy who helps them to survive. Graham Cyril Kennedy AO (15 February 1934 – 25 May 2005) was an Australian entertainer, comedian and variety performer, as well as a personality and star of radio, theatre, television and film. He often performed in the style of vaudevillian and radio comedy star Roy Rene and was often called "Gra Gra" (pronounced "gray-gray").
