Noel White
Noel White (16 December 1929 – 30 June 2019) was a businessman, football club chairman, director and administrator from the North West of England. He was one of the founding architects of the Premier League and Life Vice President of The Football Association. Business White and Swales White and Swales Ltd was founded in Altrincham by Noel White and Peter Swales in 1955. They initially sold Sheet Music, Records, Musical Instruments and Accessories before moving into the flourishing market of television rentals. They had by this time opened a total 15 branches in Cheshire and South Manchester. Bowdon Hotel Following the sale of White and Swales, Noel moved on to run and own the Bowdon Hotel in Altrincham. Following major extensions and improvements this brought the hotel a 3 star rating which it still has. White went on to sell the Bowdon Hotel in 1986. British Empire Medal
The British Empire Medal (BEM; formerly British Empire Medal for Meritorious Service) is a British and Commonwealth award for meritorious civil or military service worthy of recognition by the Crown. The current honour was created in 1922 to replace the original medal, which had been established in 1917 as part of the Order of the British Empire. Sir David Gerald Richards (born 3 October 1943) was the chairman of the FA Premier League, member of the Football Association's (FA) Board, chairman of the FA's international committee, president of the European Professional Football Leagues organisation, chairman of UEFA's Professional Football Committee, and former chairman of Sheffield Wednesday F.C. Sir Philip David Carter, CBE (8 May 1927 – 23 April 2015) was a Scottish-born football director, life president of Everton Football Club and former director of Littlewoods. Irving Scholar
Irving Alan Scholar (born November 1947) is a property developer and former investor in football clubs, most noted for his time as chairman of Tottenham Hotspur and as a director of Nottingham Forest. As chairman of Tottenham, Scholar became known for a number of innovations in the commercialisation of the club, such as floating it on the stock market in October 1983, innovations that were copied by other football clubs. He was also instrumental in pushing for higher fees paid by television companies for rights to broadcast football matches. The financial imperative would eventually led to the formation of the Premier League with Tottenham one of the five prime movers who pushed for its formation. David Dein
David Barry Dein (b. 7 September 1943) is a British businessman, known for being a former co-owner and vice-chairman of Arsenal Football Club, and former vice-chairman of the Football Association. Dein was vice-chairman of Arsenal between 1983 and 2007, and was instrumental in the formation of the Premier League in 1992.
