	Dynasty Warriors is a series of Japanese hack and slash action video games created by Omega Force and Koei (now is Koei Tecmo). The series is a spin-off of Koei's turn-based strategy '' Romance of the Three Kingdoms'' series, based upon the Chinese novel of the same name, which is a fictionalized and exaggerated version of the Chinese historical text '' Records of the Three Kingdoms''. Takei chose shamanism as the main theme of the series because he wanted a topic that had never been attempted before in manga. The ''Shaman King'' manga was originally serialized in Shueisha's ''Weekly Shōnen Jump'' between June 1998 and August 2004.
