is a retired Japanese mixed martial artist, who competed in the strawweight divisions of Pancrase and Shooto. He is a one-time List of Pancrase champions#Light Flyweight Championship, Pancrase light flyweight and one-time List of Shooto champions#Flyweight Championship, Shooto flyweight title challenger. Rambaa Somdet ( th, แรมบ้า สมเดช; born August 30, 1974) is a retired Thai mixed martial artist and former Muay Thai fighter who has fought for K-1, Shooto, DEEP and Palace Fighting Championship. He competed in the flyweight and strawweight divisions. Somdet is a former Shooto World Flyweight (114 lb) Champion. Shooto is a combat sport and mixed martial arts organization that is governed by the ''Shooto Association'' and the ''International Shooto Commission''. Shooto was originally formed in 1985, first as a particular fighting system and then in 1989 as a mixed martial arts promotion. is a Japanese mixed martial artist. He is the current Pancrase Flyweight Champion and a former Pancrase Super Flyweight Champion. Mixed martial arts career Sunabe began his professional MMA career in 2001 in his native Japan. He has fought primarily for the Pancrase promotion where he has been both the Pancrase Flyweight Champion and Pancrase Super Flyweight Champion. Sunabe has been working to promote MMA in Okinawa, his hometown, and is going to host the grappling event series "OKINAWA WWF" there.
