The Sunshine Underground
The Sunshine Underground (often shortened to TSU) were an English alternative dance band based in Leeds, England. Their style developed from indie, alternative to electronic music, and they released four full-length albums; '' Raise the Alarm'' (2006), '' Nobody's Coming to Save You'' (2010), ''The Sunshine Underground'' (2014) and their farewell album, ''Luminescent'' (2016). The group, named after a song from the 1999 album ''Surrender'' by The Chemical Brothers, were often associated with the British nu-rave scene of 2006 and built a respectable live following after years of touring. City Rockers is a British independent record label. Their current signed artists include The Sunshine Underground, The Ghost Frequency and The Blood Arm. ''Drowned in Sound'', sometimes abbreviated to ''DiS'', is a UK-based music webzine financed by artist management company Silentway. Founded by editor Sean Adams, the site features reviews, news, interviews, and discussion forums. History ''DiS'' began as an email fanzine in 1998 called ''The Last Resort'' but was relaunched by founder and editor Sean Adams as ''Drowned in Sound'' in 2000. The freelance writing team is currently spread across four continents – North America, Asia, Europe and Australasia.
