''The Nobodies'' is a fantasy novel by N. E. Bode. It follows '' The Anybodies'' and has one sequel, '' The Somebodies''. Plot summary Fern Drudger is a child who has the ability to shake things out of books. But, lately, only Diet Lime Fizzy Drinks seem to pop out of them. The Fizzy Drinks always have messages from a mysterious group called the Nobodies. As it turns out to be, Nobodies are people or animals that are shaken out of books and haven't been returned yet to their homes inside the books. The Nobodies seem to have a terrible enemy, and they say that Fern is the only one who can save them. Fern, now reunited with her real parents, is sent off to Camp Happy Sunshine Good Times, a camp for young Anybodies. Anybodies are people who can transform themselves or others into different objects through hypnotism. At the camp, Fern meets Mary Stern, the counselor for girls. "The Nobodies" is a song by American rock band Marilyn Manson. It is the third and final single from their fourth studio album, ''Holy Wood (In the Shadow of the Valley of Death)'', released in 2000. The song addresses Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, perpetrators of the Columbine High School massacre in 1999. The song's title is from a quote by John Lennon's murderer, Mark David Chapman, who once lamented that he "felt like a nobody." As early as February 10, 2001, Manson had made indications that the song would be chosen as the album's third single. The third single was released in physical format on September 3, 2001 in the UK, and on October 6, 2001 in the US. A remixed version of the song, called "Wormwood Remix", would later appear in the 2001 Johnny Depp film ''From Hell'', and had an accompanying music video with footage from the film.
