No Place For Us
''No Place For Us'' is the debut EP by ambient techno act The Sight Below, released on August 26, 2008 by Ghostly International. It is available as a free, promotional download on the label's website. The EP was recorded live in Seattle, Washington during the winter of 2007–2008. It is equally influenced by shoegaze and ambient techno. Each track also has its own individual artwork. In addition, at the bottom of the "back cover" artwork that contains the credits, the artist simply states to the reader,"Share this music." The opening track, ''No Place For Us'', is reminiscent of William Basinski's The Disintegration Loops, Biosphere and Wolfgang Voigt's Gas project. The Sight Below
The Sight Below is an American ambient techno/ shoegaze act from Seattle, Washington. Its main member is the American post-minimalist composer Rafael Anton Irisarri. Sam Valenti IV signed The Sight Below to his Ghostly International imprint in 2008 after listening to a demo tape. A promotional EP '' No Place for Us'' was soon released by the label as a free MP3 download on August 26, 2008. The Sight Below debuted its live set at Seattle's KEXP radio station on September 20, 2008. The in-studio session was recorded and is available on Ghostly's website as a podcastGhostlyCast #18. A well-received performance followed at the Ghostly International showcase during Decibel Festival. These performances paved the way for an extensive European tour that saw the artist perform at 18 different cities in the continent, including Unsound festival in Krakow, Poland, EME Festival in Lisbon, Portugal, S.O.Y. Wolfgang Voigt
Wolfgang Voigt (born 1961) is an electronic music DJ and producer from Cologne, Germany, known for his output under various aliases, such as Gas. He signed on numerous record labels, including Warp, Harvest, Raster-Noton, Force Inc, Astral Industries and Kompakt. The latter was co-founded by Voigt alongside Michael Mayer and Jürgen Paape. He is considered one of the most influential minimal techno artists. Mastering, a form of audio post production, is the process of preparing and transferring recorded audio from a source containing the final mix to a data storage device (the master), the source from which all copies will be produced (via methods such as pressing, duplication or replication). Laptop

Guitar
The guitar is a fretted musical instrument that typically has six strings. Gas (musician)
Gas (stylized as GAS or G A S) is the main musical project of German electronic musician and composer Wolfgang Voigt (born 1961). The project was created as an expressive medium inspired by his experiences with taking LSD in the Königsforst, a German forest situated near his hometown of Cologne, for long periods in his youth. He has claimed that the intention of the project is to "bring the forest to the disco, or vice-versa". History Wolfgang Voigt began creating music under the name of Gas starting in 1995, when he released the EP ''Modern'' on the label Profan.
