No Fairy Tale
''No Fairy Tale'' is a studio album by Lisa Loeb released on December 12, 2012 in Japan and January 29, 2013 in North America. The album has received positive critical reception. Recording and release ''No Fairy Tale'' is Loeb's first album since 2004's ''The Way It Really Is'' marketed to adults, after she shifted to recording children's music for several years. On this album, she explores themes of her rise to fame in the music business and personal relationships. Co-producer Chad Gilbert suggested that Loeb explore her breakthrough as an alternative rock star in the 1990s and Loeb agreed, eventually touring to support this album with her former backing band 9 Stories. The album also features Loeb's first cover on an adult album, with two songs composed by Canadian indie rock duo Tegan and Sara. Lisa Loeb (; born March 11, 1968) is an American singer-songwriter, musician, author and actress. She started her career with the number 1 hit song "Stay (I Missed You)" from the film '' Reality Bites,'' the first number 1 single for an artist without a recording contract. She achieved two additional Top 20 singles with "Do You Sleep?" in 1996 and " I Do" in 1998. ''The Daily Gazette'' is an independent, family-owned daily newspaper published in Schenectady, New York. ''The Daily Gazette'' also owns and operates ''The Amsterdam Recorder'', ''The Gloversville Leader-Herald'' and ''Your Niskayuna''. History ''The Daily Gazette'' was founded as a weekly newspaper by the Marlette family in 1894. It was sold to the Schenectady Printing Association in September of that year, and expanded into a daily newspaper, while still publishing its weekly edition. Brad Wood is an American record producer located in Los Angeles. He has produced many albums, including Liz Phair's ''Exile in Guyville'' and Placebo's debut. Career Wood is from Rockford, Illinois, United States. In 1988, Wood, along with Brian Deck and Daniel Sonis built Idful Music Corporation recording studio in Chicago's Wicker Park. While at Idful he recorded and produced hundreds of records, including Liz Phair's ''Exile in Guyville'', Veruca Salt's ''American Thighs'', Ben Lee's ''Grandpa Would'', Sunny Day Real Estate's ''Diary'' and ''LP2'', and albums by Red Red Meat, Seam, That Dog, and others. Paul Miner
Paul Miner (born December 4, 1976) is the bassist for Death by Stereo, who left the band early 2005 (right before the band's fourth album '' Death for Life''), to produce, engineer, master, and mix music full-time. Previously he produced and engineered the first three Death by Stereo records, which is probably why the band's fourth album ''Death for Life'', was a noticeable departure from their regular sound. Paul was also in a band called Kill The Messenger, which was also signed to Indecision Records. Paul is the brother of Jim Miner, the original guitarist, who left the band during the recording of Death by Stereo's third album ''Into the Valley of Death''.
