No Deliverance
''No Deliverance'' is the third studio album by Toadies. It was released in 2008 on Kirtland Records. ''No Deliverance'' is the band's first album seven years after the band's previous album, '' Hell Below/Stars Above'', and the first since the band's reunion in 2006. It is also the band's only album without an official bass player, with bass duties being handled by Vaden Todd Lewis. The album was promoted by two singles, "No Deliverance" and "Song I Hate", the former which reached number 38 on the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart. Release and reception "No Deliverance" was made available for streaming on ''Spins website. The album was released on CD, vinyl and for digital download. While all versions contained ten tracks, the iTunes release included a bonus eleventh track, a cover of The Cure's "A Forest". Toadies
Toadies are an American rock band formed in 1989 in Fort Worth, Texas, best known for the song " Possum Kingdom". The band's classic lineup consisted of Vaden Todd Lewis (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Lisa Umbarger (bass guitar), Darrel Herbert (lead guitar), and Mark Reznicek (drums). It formed in 1989 and disbanded in 2001 after Umbarger left the group. The band reformed and released the album '' No Deliverance'' in 2008. In 2010, they re-released the album '' Feeler'' with Kirtland Records (the album's original release had been denied by Interscope in 1997). Matthieu Hartley
Matthieu Hartley (born 4 February 1960) is an English musician born in Smallfield, England. He is best known for as the original keyboardist for The Cure. Before then he was in Lockjaw and The Magazine Spies and was in several bands after leaving The Cure. Biography Before joining The Cure he and fellow band member Simon Gallup were involved in two other bands called Lockjaw and the Magspies (a.k.a. the Magazine Spies). In November 1979, he and Gallup joined The Cure; replacing Michael Dempsey. They both helped drive the band in an entirely new direction with the recording of their second album, ''Seventeen Seconds'', a much darker album than their debut, ''Three Imaginary Boys''. Simon Gallup
Simon Jonathon Gallup (born 1 June 1960) is an English musician and bassist with the alternative rock band The Cure. He is the second longest-serving member of the band after lead vocalist/guitarist Robert Smith. Early years Born in Duxhurst, Surrey, Simon's family moved to Horley in 1961 where he attended Horley Infants and Junior Schools until 1971, followed by Horley Balcombe Road Comprehensive to 1976. Between 1976 and 1978 he worked in a plastics factory and became the bass player for local punk band Lockjaw, who later evolved into the Magazine Spies (1979–1980), also known as the Mag/Spys. Robert James Smith (born 21 April 1959) is an English musician. He is the lead singer, guitarist, primary songwriter, and only continuous member of the rock band the Cure, which he co-founded in 1978. Newbury Comics is an American comic book and music retailer based in New England. Newbury Comics began as a comic book vendor on Newbury Street in Boston. The company was founded in 1978 by Massachusetts Institute of Technology students John Brusger and Mike Dreese.
