No. 23 Squadron (Pakistan Air Force)
The No. 23 Squadron, nicknamed Talons, is an air superiority fighter squadron of the Pakistan Air Force. It is based at PAF Base Samungli in the Balochistan, Pakistan, Balochistan province of Pakistan and operates the Chengdu J7, Chengdu F-7PG aircraft. A wingman (or wingmate) is a pilot or UAV who supports another pilot in a potentially dangerous flying environment. The Sukhoi Su-7 ( NATO designation name: Fitter-A) is a swept wing, supersonic fighter aircraft developed by the Soviet Union in 1955. Originally, it was designed as a tactical, low-level dogfighter, but was not successful in this role.
