Nkumba
Nkumba is an urban area in Wakiso District in the Buganda Region of Uganda. The area is primarily a university town, on account of Nkumba University, a private university that maintains its main campus in the neighborhood. Nkumba University
Nkumba University (NKU) is a chartered private university in Uganda. It was established in 1994 as part of a group of schools and colleges that originally grew from a kindergarten established in 1951. The university is not affiliated with any particular religious organization, but it accommodates several religious associations. Leadership Emmanuel Katongole is the University's Chancellor. Sylvia Nagginda (born 9 November 1962) is the current Nnabagereka of Buganda, Nnabagereka or Queen of Buganda, a historic kingdom in modern-day Uganda. Background Nagginda was born in England in 1962 to John Mulumba Luswata of Entebbe, Nkumba, Entebbe and Rebecca Nakintu Musoke and returned to Uganda shortly thereafter to be raised by her grandparents of the Omusu Clan. Entebbe
Entebbe is a city in Central Uganda. Located on a Lake Victoria peninsula, approximately southwest of the Ugandan capital city, Kampala. Entebbe was once the seat of government for the Protectorate of Uganda prior to independence, in 1962. Kampala–Entebbe Road
The Kampala–Entebbe Road, also known as the Entebbe–Kampala Road or the Entebbe Road, is a road in the Central Region of Uganda, connecting the capital city of Kampala and Entebbe International Airport. Regions Of Uganda
The regions of Uganda are known as Central, Western, Eastern, and Northern. These four regions are in turn divided into districts. There were 56 districts in 2002, which expanded into 111 districts plus one city (Kampala) by 2010. The national government interacts directly with the districts, so regions do not have any definite role in administration. Under British rule before 1962, the regions were functional administrative units and were called provinces, headed by a Provincial Commissioner.
