Farhan Nizami
Farhan Nizami CBE, is a historian of South Asia. Early life and education Nizami is the youngest of five children of the late K. A. Nizami and late Razia Nizami. Nizami completed his B.A. (Hons.) and M.A. in history at Aligarh Muslim University with a first class. He was awarded the University Medal, and the Khursheed Nurul Hasan Gold Medal in 1977. He was a National Scholar at the Centre for Advanced Study in History (1977–79) and the recipient of the University Medal in 1979. He completed his D.Phil. in modern history at Wadham College on an Oxford Overseas Scholarship in 1983. During 1982–83 he was elected to the Frere Exhibition. Hameed Nizami
Hameed Nizami or Hamid Nizami ( Punjabi, ur, ; b. 3 October 1915 – 22 February 1962), was an eminent journalist, literary figure, Pakistan Movement activist, and the founder as well as the editor-in-chief of the Urdu-language newspaper, the '' Nawa-i-Waqt'' (lit. 'The Voice of the Time'). He earned national prominence for penning several political articles and opinionated columns in support of successful Pakistan Movement while he played a crucial role in the growing influence of the print journalism in Pakistan. Biography Hameed Nizami was born in the remote railway junction town of Sangla Hill, District Nankana Sahib. Sangla Hill is few miles from the vintage city Lyallpur (now Faisalabad), Punjab, British Indian Empire, on 3 October 1915. Motiur Rahman Nizami
Motiur Rahman Nizami ( bn, মতিউর রহমান নিজামী, links=no; 31 March 1943 – 11 May 2016) was a politician, former Minister of Bangladesh, Islamic scholar, writer, and the former leader of the Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami. He is noted for leading the terror squad Al-Badr during the Bangladesh Liberation War. On 29 October 2014, he was convicted of masterminding the Demra massacre by the International Crimes Tribunal of Bangladesh. Nizami was the Member of Parliament for the Pabna-1 constituency from 1991 to 1996 and again from 2001 to 2006. He also served as the Bangladeshi Minister of Agriculture and Minister of Industry. Nizami Aruzi
Ahmad ibn Umar ibn Alī, known as Nizamī-i Arūzī-i Samarqandī ( fa, نظامی عروضی) and also Arudi ("The Prosodist"), was a Persian poet and prose writer who flourished between 1110 and 1161. He is particularly famous for his ''Chahar Maqala'' ("Four Discourses"), his only work to fully survive. While living in Samarqand, Abu’l-Rajaʾ Ahmad b. ʿAbd-Al-Ṣamad, a ''dehqan'' in Transoxiana, told Nezami of how the poet Rudaki was given compensation for his poem extolling the virtues of Samanid ''Amir'' Nasr b. Ahmad. Life A native of Samarqand in Transoxiana, his date of birth and death is uncertain. He was most likely born at the end of the 11th century. Nizami Bahmanov ( az, Nizami Keykavus oğlu Bəhmənov; April 4, 1948 – September 13, 2008) was an Azerbaijani politician who served as the Head of the Executive Power of Shusha and the Chairman of the Azerbaijani Community of Nagorno-Karabakh in Exile. Early life Bahmanov was born on April 4, 1948 in Shusha, Azerbaijan to Keykavus Bahmanov (1908–1981) and Sajara Ismailova. He is great-grandson of Bahman Mirza Qajar through his 15th son, Keygubad Mirza (1865–1923). He graduated from Azerbaijan Technical University in Baku. He worked many years in construction and was the executive officer of a renovation and construction union until April 1992.
