Nitroplus
Nitroplus Co., Ltd., currently styled as NITRO PLUS, formerly stylized as nitro+, and formerly known as "OKStyle", is a Japanese visual novel video game developer that has developed a number of visual novels, including eroge. They also have been collaborating with developer Type-Moon to create the light novel series ''Fate/Zero''. Their works usually have dark Theme (literature), themes such as zombies, reanimation of the dead, rape and murder. They also have a branch of the company called Nitro+chiral, which focuses on yaoi, Boys' Love visual novels. Writers aligned with the company, such as Gen Urobuchi, have also contributed to various manga, anime, novel, and television works. Super Sonico is the mascot of Nitroplus' annual music festival event, "Nitro Super Sonico", since 2006. Nitroplus has held their music festival every year since 2000. ''Phantom of Inferno'' (known in Japan as ''Phantom -PHANTOM OF INFERNO-'') is an adult visual novel game created by Nitroplus, directed and written by Gen Urobuchi, distributed in North America by Hirameki International (a subsidiary of the Japanese visual novel publisher Hirameki). It came out for PC in Japan in 2000 and was ported for DVD in 2001 and for PS2 in 2003. It was distributed in America as an AnimePlay DVD title in 2002. Gen Urobuchi
is a Japanese novelist, visual novel writer and anime screenwriter. He is known for being the co-creator of the highly acclaimed and commercially successful anime series '' Puella Magi Madoka Magica'', which earned him the Tokyo Anime Award for Best Scriptwriter, as well as the writer of the 2003 visual novel ''Saya no Uta'', the 2012 anime ''Psycho-Pass'', the light novel and anime '' Fate/Zero'', and the 2013–2014 tokusatsu show ''Kamen Rider Gaim''. He currently works at Nitroplus and Nitro+chiral. Demonbane
is a visual novel series by Nitroplus with mecha and Cthulhu mythos elements. Beginning as an eroge visual novel for the PC, it was ported into a PlayStation 2 non-eroge remake, and spawned a sequel visual novel, a prequel novel, an anime television adaptation and a conversion to manga. Jingai Makyō
is a Japanese adult visual novel game developed by Nitroplus that was released on June 24, 2005. Plot Demonic creatures exist and manipulate the world behind the scenes (called Narazaru). Some are good and just want to live in the world, while others have grander goals of opening the Demon Gate and make the earth their prize. Saya No Uta
''The Song of Saya'' is a horror eroge lolicon visual novel by Nitroplus. The original plot was written by Gen Urobuchi, who took inspiration from reading Lovecraft novels during a lonely time in his life. In 2009, an English fan translation patch was released. Later, in 2013, JAST USA released an English localization on their digital platform using a revised version of the fan translation and also re-released it physically via the DVD-ROM format in 2020 for outlets such as J-list with a more modern VN engine. A Chinese version was also released by Kagura Games in co-publishing with JAST for Steam, also running on the new engine, though this version arrived heavily censored. is a Japanese eroge visual novel developed by Nitroplus that was released on January 26, 2007. ''Gekkō no Carnevale'' has been adapted into a manga, a light novel, and a drama CD. It is a story set in a Gothic world. Plot and Setting The story takes place in a city resembling Italy, known as Belmonte, with the technology levels resembling levels in the late 19th century. In this city there are human-sized mechanical dolls known as "Automata" who serve the people of the city. is a 2014 Japanese anime science fiction film. The film is directed by Seiji Mizushima, with a screenplay written by Gen Urobuchi. The film was produced by Toei Animation and animated by Graphinica, and was distributed by T-Joy and Toei Company. Nitro+chiral is a subsidiary of the Japanese visual novel company Nitroplus that focuses on creating BL eroge visual novels. History The company was formed in 2004 and released their first work, ''Togainu no Chi'', in 2005. Their second game, ''Lamento -Beyond the Void-'' was released in 2006. A fan disc named ''Chiral Mori'' was released in 2008. It is an amusement disc that includes three minigames and features the characters of their first two games.
