Nicola Salerno
Nicola Salerno, also known as Nisa (11 March 1910 – 22 May 1969) was an Italian lyricist. He formed a famous songwriting duo with Renato Carosone. Career Nicola Salerno was born in Naples, Italy. His first hit was "Eulalia Torricelli" of 1947, about the unhappy love story between a wealthy girl from Forlì and a guy named Giosuè. Nisa put the whole team of songwriters in the lyrics, as heirs to the beautiful Eulalia: "Un castello lo dà a Nisa, un castello lo dà a Redi, un castello, ma il più bello, al maestro Olivieri lo dà" ("she gives one castle to Nisa, one castle to Redi, but the most beautiful ones goes to Maestro Olivieri"). Nisa and Carosone met in 1955. It was Mariano Rapetti, Ricordi record company's director - and father of lyricist Mogol - who suggested that they should work together to enter a radio contest. Nisa brought Carosone three texts to be set to music. One of them was titled '' Tu vuò fà l'americano''. Carosone had an instant inspiration and s ...

InSecurity
InSecurity is a Canadian spy comedy television series that aired on CBC Television from 2011 to 2012. The series centres on a team of covert operatives working for the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA), a fictional Canadian intelligence service. The series is set in Ottawa but filmed primarily in Regina, Saskatchewan. The initial season of 13 episodes premiered January 4, 2011. It was followed by a second season of 10 episodes before cancellation by CBC on April 19, 2012 due to budget cuts from the 2012 Canadian federal budget. One of the producers called it "the '' 24'' of Canada"; one writer described it as "''24'' without Jack Bauer; '' CSI'' minus the science; and James Bond - if James Bond were Mr. Bean." The initial pilot focused on the tedium involved in electronic eavesdropping but the decision was made that it would be too "niche". A second pilot was done with a more ''24'' approach. Overview The series revolves around a team of incompetent spy-catchers ...

Nippon Individual Savings Account
A Nippon individual savings account (NISA) is an account that is meant to help residents in Japan save money with tax-exempt benefits. It is modeled after the Individual Savings Account in the United Kingdom. History NISA was created in 2014 as a way to encourage more people to save for retirement with investments. This was mainly spurred by the studies showing that the majority of Japanese residents had little to no savings for retirement and most of that savings being cash rather than investments. Features The account earns tax-free growth up until five years and resets every cycle. Each account is only allowed to invest ¥1,200,000 each year with a total maximum limit of ¥6,000,000 after which anything contributed and any capital gains over the limit is fully taxed. Unlike other retirement tax-deferred accounts, a NISA is only allowed to hold stocks, ETFs, and trusts. Bonds are not permitted in the accounts. This account is meant to be a mid-term investment option for thos ...

Individual Savings Account
An individual savings account (ISA; ) is a class of retail investment arrangement available to residents of the United Kingdom. First introduced in 1999, the accounts have favourable tax status. Payments into the account are made from after-tax income, then the account is exempt from income tax and capital gains tax on the investment returns, and no tax is payable on money withdrawn from the scheme. Cash and a broad range of investments can be held within the arrangement, and there is no restriction on when or how much money can be withdrawn. Since 2017, there have been four types of account: cash ISA, stocks & shares ISA, innovative finance ISA (IFISA) and lifetime ISA (LISA). Each taxpayer has an annual investment limit (£20,000 since ) which can be split among the four types as desired. Additionally, children under 18 may hold a junior ISA, with a different annual limit. Until the lifetime ISA was introduced in 2017, ISAs were not a specific retirement investment, but any type ...
