Nintendo Switch Games
The Nintendo Switch is a video game console developed by Nintendo, for which games are released both in physical and digital formats. Physical games are sold on cartridges that slot into the Switch console unit. Digital games are purchased through the Nintendo eShop and stored either in the Switch's internal 32 GB of storage (64 GB in the OLED version) or on a microSDXC card. The Switch has no regional lockout features, freely allowing games from any region to be played on any system, with the exception of Chinese game cards released by Tencent that play only on consoles distributed by Tencent. Switch games are listed across five pages due to technical limitations. Nintendo Switch Portable
is a Japanese multinational video game company headquartered in Kyoto, Japan. It develops video games and video game consoles. Nintendo was founded in 1889 as by craftsman Fusajiro Yamauchi and originally produced handmade playing cards. After venturing into various lines of business during the 1960s and acquiring a legal status as a public company, Nintendo distributed its first console, the Color TV-Game, in 1977. It gained international recognition with the release of ''Donkey Kong'' in 1981 and the Nintendo Entertainment System and ''Super Mario Bros.'' in 1985. G-Mode Archives
G-Mode Archives is a series of re-releases of older mobile games for the Nintendo Switch console as well as PC. The term "G-Mode Archives" on its own refers to titles that are developed or published by G-Mode, whereas G-Mode Archives+ refers to third-party releases. The series debuted on the Switch on April 16, 2020, and first appeared on PC on April 21, 2021. Many of the games released as part of the series were originally Java-based games on Japanese mobile phones, for which a monthly fee was charged in order to play. It consists of Sega arcade games and Home video game console, home console games, typically those for the Sega Genesis and Master System. The series was launched on the Sega Saturn in 1996. is a series of emulated arcade games from the late 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, and early 2000s for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows, and Nintendo Switch, published by Hamster Corporation. For the Nintendo Switch family of systems, Nintendo distributes retro games to subscribers of their Nintendo Switch Online service. Subscribers have access to games for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) and Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES), and for an additional cost, are granted access to Nintendo 64 and Sega Genesis games. During its first year, the Online service provided a new batch of NES games on a monthly basis. However, with the addition of SNES titles in September 2019, Nintendo stated that new NES and SNES games would no longer be made available on a regular schedule though would continue to expand both libraries over time. Some NES and SNES games with multiplayer modes support both local and online play.
