Nino Cesarini
Antonio Cesarini (30 September 1889 – 25 October 1943), better known by the diminutive name Nino, was a model for several artists, such as the photographer Wilhelm von Plüschow, painters Paul Hoecker and Umberto Brunelleschi and sculptor Francesco Jerace during his youth. In his adulthood he modelled for Vincenzo Gemito, who presented him as a prototype of homoerotic masculine beauty. He was also known for his relationship with Baron Jacques d'Adelswärd-Fersen. His life was novelized by the French writer Roger Peyrefitte in his work ''The Exile of Capri'' (''L'exilé de Capri'') in 1959. Paul Hoecker (11 August 1854, Oberlangenau – 13 January 1910, Munich) was a German painter of the Munich School and founding member of the Munich Secession Biography His passion for art developed gradually, beginning at the Gymnasium in Neustadt, where he was known for his humorous drawings and caricatures of his instructors. In 1874, he became a student at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich, which he attended until the spring of 1879. Ferry Radax
Ferry Radax (20 June 1932 – 9 September 2021) was an Austrian film maker born in Vienna, Austria. Career Radax was active in many genres since 1949. He studied at Vienna's Film Institute in 1953–54, followed by ''Cinecittà'', Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, in Rome in 1955–56. He produced films all around Europe, and also in South America, the United States, and New Zealand. He made feature films, but was mostly known for short experimental films, documentaries and portrayals of poets and artists. Some of them, Konrad Bayer, Friedensreich Hundertwasser, and H. C. Artmann, he became acquainted with in the early 1950s as a member of Art-Club in Vienna. Finally, 40 different films from 40 years of filmmaking and the total oeuvre of 120 productions were also shown for a month at Vienna's Albertina Film Museum in 1993. The Campo Verano (Italian: ''Cimitero del Verano'') is a cemetery in Rome, Italy, founded in the early 19th century. The monumental cemetery is currently divided into sections: the Jewish cemetery, the Catholic cemetery, and the monument to the victims of World War I. History The Verano (officially the "Communal Monumental Cemetery of Campo Verano") is located in the quartiere Tiburtino of Rome, near the Basilica of San Lorenzo fuori le mura. Ada Negri
Ada Negri (3 February 187011 January 1945) was an Italian poet and writer. She was the only woman to be admitted to the Academy of Italy. Biography Ada Negri was born in Lodi, Italy, into a humble family: her father was Giuseppe Negri, a coachman, and her mother was Vittoria Cornalba, a weaver. Her childhood was characterized by her relationship with her grandmother, Giuseppina "Peppina" Panni, who worked as a Caretaker at the noble Barni family's palace, in which Ada spent much time alone, observing the passage of people, as described in the autobiographical novel Stella Mattutina (1921).
