Nile Soik
Nile Warren Soik (May 2, 1923 – August 3, 2001) was an American politician, United States military officer, and educator. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Soik graduated from Riverside University High School. He then graduated from the United States Military Academy in 1945 and served in the United States Army. Soik received his master's degree in business administration from University of Wisconsin–Madison in 1951 and his doctorate degree at Cornell University. Soik was a trainer in the human resource department at Allen-Bradley. He also taught at Milwaukee School of Engineering, Lakeland College, Marquette University, Milwaukee Area Technical College, and Cardinal Stritch University. He served in the Wisconsin State Assembly in 1961-1969 as a Republican and then in the Wisconsin State Senate in 1969–1973. Jerris Leonard (January 17, 1931July 27, 2006) was an American lawyer and Republican politician. He served 8 years in the Wisconsin State Senate (1961–1969) and four years in the State Assembly (1957–1961), representing northern Milwaukee County. Background and personal life Leonard was born on January 17, 1931, to Jerris and Marie Leonard in Chicago, Illinois. His family moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he graduated from Rufus King High School. Bob Kasten
Robert Walter Kasten Jr. (born June 19, 1942) is an American Republican politician from the state of Wisconsin who served as a U.S. Representative from 1975 to 1979 and as a United States Senator from 1981 to 1993. Background Kasten was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He attended the Milwaukee Country Day School before graduating in 1960 from The Choate School (now Choate Rosemary Hall) in Wallingford, Connecticut, in 1964 from the University of Arizona in Tucson, and received his M.B.A. from the Columbia Business School in 1966. He served in the Wisconsin Air National Guard from 1966 to 1972. Elected office Kasten was elected to the Wisconsin State Senate in 1972. Wisconsin's 4th State Senate District
The 4th Senate District of Wisconsin is one of 33 districts in the Wisconsin State Senate. Located in southeast Wisconsin, the district is entirely contained within northern Milwaukee County. It comprises part of the city of Milwaukee's north side, as well as the village of Shorewood, the southern half of the city of Glendale, and part of northern Wauwatosa.
