Nikpikhel
Naikpikhel (also known as Nekbikhel in Pashto: ps, نیکپی خیل) is a sub-clan of the Yousafzai Pashtun tribe in Swat, residing in the surrounding area of Tehsil Kabal, Swat, situated just opposite to Mingora on the western bank of the River Swat in Swat District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Ethnicity Naikpikhel belongs to the Yousafzai branch of Pashtuns and traces its ancestry back to ''Malak Yousaf (Yousafzai)'' and further to ''Aku (Aku Zai)''. From the first wife of Aku (Aku Zai), named 'Gouhara', the tribe branches into four sub-tribes: 1. Baizai 2. Khwaja Zai 3. Aba Zai 4. Khadak Zai Khwaja Zai further branches into Mali Zai, Sujni, Shami Zai, Naikpi Khel, Shamo Zai, and Aden Zai. Bara Bandai
Kuza Bandai (Lower Meadows) Bara Bandai (برہ بانڈئ) is a village in Swat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, known as an area crossed by Alexander The Great during his invasion of the subcontinent. The people of village Bara Bandai belong to subsection Naikpikhel of Yusufzai the biggest and largest tribe of Pashtun or Pakhtun tribes. It is one of the Provincially Administered Tribal Areas (PATA) of Pakistan. The village contains a small series of mountains and a forest, residential area starting from meadows of mountainsand merge with river swat on right bank, a village market, vast land for crops, number of canals, and a part of the Swat river. Yousafzai
The Yusufzai or Yousafzai ( ps, یوسفزی, ), also referred to as the Esapzai (, ) are one of the largest tribes of ethnic Pashtuns. They are natively based in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, to which they migrated to from Suliman mountains during the 16th century, but they are also present in smaller numbers in parts of Afghanistan, including Kunar, Kabul, Kandahar and Farah. Outside of these countries, they can be found in Rohilkhand, Bannu Ghoriwala (Mughal Khel), Balochistan Sibi (Akazai) and Chagai (Hassanzai). Their name may originate from the names of the ''Aspasioi'' and the ''Aśvakan'', who were the ancient inhabitants of the Kunar, Swat, and adjoining valleys in the Hindu Kush. Mingora ( ps, مینګورہ, ur, ) is a city in the Swat District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Located on the Swat River, it is the 3rd largest city in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the 26th largest in Pakistan. State of Swat (Urdu, ps, ; locally called as Dera Swat) was a kingdom established in 1849 that was ruled by chiefs known as Akhunds. It was then recognized as a princely state in alliance with the British Indian Empire between 1926 and 1947, after which the Akhwand acceded to the newly independent state of Pakistan.
