Nikos Pentzaropoulos
Nikos Pentzaropulos ( el, Νίκος Πετζαρόπουλος; 17 January 1927 – 29 March 1979) was a Greek footballer, who played as a goalkeeper, mainly for Panionios. He earned the nickname ''"the Hero of Tampere"'' ''( el, ο Ήρωας του Τάμπερε)'', after his performance with the Greek Olympic team in 1952. Club career Early years and distinction Pentzaropulos began playing football in 1940 at the local team, Keravnos Kallitheas. In 1943, at the age of 16, he was discovered by the goalkeeping coach of Panionios, Giorgos Roussopoulos, who quackly realized his talent and joined the club. He established himself quickly to first team from a young age and in 1948 he became an international with Greece for the first time. Alfredo Foni
Alfredo Foni (; 20 January 1911 – 28 January 1985) was an Italian footballer in the 1930s and later on a coach, who played as a defender. He is one of only four players to have won both an Olympic gold medal and the FIFA World Cup with the Italy national football team. Club career Foni was born in Udine, and he made his professional debut with local club Udinese at the age of 16, in 1927, in the Prima Divisione (the predecessor to the Italian Serie A); he later moved to Lazio in 1929. He later moved to Padova for a brief stint after a few seasons in Roma. Foni later transferred to Juventus in 1934, replacing Virginio Rosetta. The Greek Football Cup ( el, Κύπελλο Ελλάδος Ποδοσφαίρου), commonly known as the Greek Cup or Kypello Elladas is a Greek football competition, run by the Hellenic Football Federation. Antonis Manikas ( el, Αντώνης Μανίκας, born 9 February 1959) is a Greek former professional footballer, who played as a goalkeeper and later a manager. Ricardo Zamora
Ricardo Zamora Martínez (; 14 February 1901 – 8 September 1978) was a Spanish footballer and manager. He played as a goalkeeper for, among others, RCD Espanyol, FC Barcelona and Real Madrid. As an international he played for both the Catalan XI and Spain. As a manager, he won two La Liga titles with Atlético Aviación and briefly managed Spain. Zamora, nicknamed ''El Divino'', was noted for wearing a cloth cap and a white polo-neck jumper on the field, a look later copied by several of his contemporaries.
