Nikolay Denin
Nikolay Vasilyevich Denin (russian: Николай Васильевич Денин; born 15 May 1958) is a Russian politician who served as the governor of Bryansk Oblast from 2004 to 2014. He is a member of the United Russia party. He won his election in 2004 by a wide margin after the incumbent governor, Yury Lodkin was removed from the ballot by a court, just days before the vote. 2012 Russian Gubernatorial Elections
Russian gubernatorial elections in 2012 took place on 14 October in Amur, Bryansk, Belgorod, Novgorod and Ryazan oblasts. The ballots in governors’ elections in the Amur, Belgorod and Ryazan regions had four names to choose from. The ballot in the Novgorod region contained three names. In total, 17 candidates from six political parties competed for five governor seats.
