Nikolai Padius
Nikolay Padius (alternate spelling: Nikolai; born January 9, 1980, in Saint Petersburg, SFSR, Soviet Union) is a Russian former professional basketball player. At a height of 1.97 m (6 ft 5 in) tall, and a weight of 93 kg (205 pounds), he played at the shooting guard position. Professional career Padius played professionally with the following clubs: Spartak St. Petersburg, CSKA Moscow, Dynamo Moscow, Aris Thessaloniki, Dynamo Moscow Region, UNICS Kazan, Spartak Primorje, and Lokomotiv Kuban. National team career Padius was a member of the junior national teams of Russia. Greek Basket League
The Greek Basket League (GBL), often also referred to as the Greek A1 Basketball League, or Greek Basketball Championship (originally called Panhellenic Basketball Championship), and also known as the Stoiximan Basket League for sponsorship reasons, is the first tier level professional basketball league in Greece. The 2007 FIBA European Championship, commonly called FIBA EuroBasket 2007, was the 35th FIBA EuroBasket regional basketball championship held by FIBA Europe, which also served as Europe qualifier for the 2008 Summer Olympics, giving a berth to the champion and runner-up teams (or to the third-placed team in case Spain should reach the final).
