Nikola Prce
Nikola Prce (born 31 August 1980) is a Bosnian handball player for KH BESA FamGas and the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team. He is one of the best handball players and leader of a young generation of players in Bosnia and Herzegovina men's national handball team. Prce was honoured as Bosnia and Herzegovina "Sportsman of the Year" for 2014. "As a child I practiced everything, football, basketball, and a bit of tennis. Then, handball section was founded in high school, so I decided to try it. We traveled all over Herzegovina and played matches with peers from other schools. It was very interesting and attracted me. I practiced basketball for a while, but in the end, those trips and socializing prevailed to the side of handball and I was not wrong", says Prce. ÄŚapljina
Čapljina ( sr-cyrl, Чапљина, ) is a city located in Herzegovina-Neretva Canton of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, an entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is located on the border with Croatia a mere from the Adriatic Sea. The river Neretva flows through the city and flows into the Adriatic just over the border. Handball
Handball (also known as team handball, European handball or Olympic handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the other team. Croatian Handball Premier League
The Croatian Handball Premier League ( hr, Hrvatska rukometna premijer liga) is the highest men's team handball, handball league in Croatia. It is organized by the Croatian Handball Federation (''Hrvatski rukometni savez''). The league comprises 16 teams. The league was formed in 1991 with the dissolution of the Yugoslav leagues. Format In the first phase, eight teams from two groups compete in a home-and-away round-robin series. All teams advance from the regular season to one of two postseason stages, depending on their league position. The Handball Cup of Bosnia and Herzegovina is the national handball cup of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is organized for men and women and run by the Handball Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Before 2001/2002 season, there were three separated cup competitions, organized on ethnical principles. Bosnians (Bosnian language: / ; / , / ) are people identified with the country of Bosnia and Herzegovina or with the region of Bosnia. 2015 World Men's Handball Championship
The 2015 World Men's Handball Championship was the 24th staging of the World Men's Handball Championship, organised by the International Handball Federation (IHF). The final tournament was held for the first time in Qatar, from 15 January to 1 February 2015. The Qatari bid was selected over those of Norway, Poland and France after a vote by the IHF Council on 27 January 2011, in Malmö, Sweden. The 2006 EHF European Men's Handball Championship was the seventh tournamentof the tournament and held in Switzerland from 26 January to 5 February 2006, in the cities of Basel, Berne, Lucerne, St. Gallen and ZĂĽrich. 2013–14 EHF Cup
The 2013–14 EHF Cup was the 33rd edition of the EHF Cup and the second edition since the merger of the EHF Cup with the EHF Cup Winners' Cup. In the present format, the tournament began in early September with three knockout qualifying rounds, which concluded by late November. The 16 surviving teams were then allocated into four groups of four, where teams played against each other home-and-away in a round-robin format. The four group winners and four runners-up qualified to the quarter-finals, with each of the quarter-final winners proceeding to the Final 4 tournament played in May 2014.
