Nikola Jakšić
Nikola Jakšić ( sr-cyr, Никола Јакшић; born 17 January 1997) is a Serbian water polo player for VK Novi Beograd. At the 2016 Summer Olympics, he competed for the Serbia men's national water polo team in the men's event. He is tall and is one of the top defenders in the world. 2018 Men's European Water Polo Championship
The 2018 Men's European Water Polo Championship was held in Barcelona, Spain from 16 to 28 July 2018. Serbia won their fourth consecutive and eighth overall title by defeating Spain in the final. Qualification Sixteen teams will be allowed to the tournament. The qualification is as follows: * The host nation * The best seven teams from the 2016 European Championships not already qualified as the host nation * Eight teams from the qualifiers Format The sixteen teams were split in four groups with four teams each. The first classified team of each group qualified directly for the quarterfinals, the second and third teams played each other in cross group format to qualify for the quarterfinals. The Universiade is an international multi-sport event, organized for university athletes by the International University Sports Federation (FISU). The Mediterranean Games is a multi-sport event organised by the International Committee of Mediterranean Games (CIJM). It is held every four years among athletes from countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea in Africa, Asia and Europe. 2018 FINA Men's Water Polo World Cup
The 16th edition of the Men's FINA Water Polo World Cup were held in Berlin, Germany from September 11 to September 16, 2018. Like the final tournament of the 2007 FINA Men's Water Polo World League all matches were contested in the Europasportpark swimming pool. Format 8 teams qualified for the 2018 FINA World Cup. They were split into two groups of 4 teams. After playing a Round-robin every team advanced to the quarterfinals.
