Night Train To Milan
''Il criminale'', internationally known as ''Night Train to Milan'', is a 1962 Italian thriller film directed by Marcello Baldi. A gritty little intrigue thriller with Palance as an ex-nazi doctor in hiding. While riding on a train, he is recognized by passengers who remember him from their prisoner of war camp days. One thing leads to another and when Palance is cornered, he commits murder! He then takes a girl hostage. Salvo Randone
Salvatore "Salvo" Randone (25 September 1906 – 6 March 1991) was an Italian theatrical, television and film actor. Born in Syracuse, Sicily, Randone debuted on stage in mid-1920s and, after some years in which he played roles of little weight, he became in the fifties one of the most critically appreciated actors in Italian theatre. After a few minor roles in 1940s and 1950s he started in early 1960s a quite prolific film career as character actor; for his performances he was awarded with two Silver Ribbons and a grolla d'oro. Randone appeared in 45 films between 1943 and 1977. He was also very prolific as television actor, starring in some TV-series of great success. He was married to the actress Neda Naldi. Enzo Petito (24 July 1897 – 17 July 1967) was an Italian film and stage character actor. Renato Terra (26 July 1922 in Naples – 28 November 2010 in Rome) had a career working in film as an actor, and has appeared in over 80 movies. In 1977 he retired to become a poet. Young, he attended the Experimental Center of Cinematography in Rome and also used the alias Ryan Earthpick during his career. Franco Fabrizi (; 15 February 1916 – 18 October 1995) was an Italian actor. Life and career Son of a barber and a cinema cashier, Franco Fabrizi started his career as a model and an actor in fotoromanzi. Luigi Visconti, better known by his stage name Fanfulla, (26 February 1913 – 5 January 1971) was an Italian actor and comedian. Life and career Born in Rome, Visconti debuted at very young age on stage alongside his mother, the actress Mercedes Menolesi (best known as "Diavolina"). From the mid-forties to the late fifties, he adopted the stage name Fanfulla and was a popular comedian of cabaret and avanspettacolo shows, acclaimed for his brilliant style, referred to as "The King of Avanspettacolo" and even paired with Ettore Petrolini. His career was relaunched by Federico Fellini, who chose him for the role of Vernacchio in ''Fellini Satyricon'', a role that gave Fanfulla a Nastro d'Argento for best supporting actor.
