''Night After Night'' is a 1932 American Pre-Code Hollywood, pre-Code drama film starring George Raft, Constance Cummings, and Mae West in her first movie role. Others in the cast include Wynne Gibson, Alison Skipworth, Roscoe Karns, Louis Calhern, and Bradley Page. Directed by Archie Mayo, it was adapted for the screen by Vincent Lawrence and Kathryn Scola, based on the Cosmopolitan (magazine), Cosmopolitan magazine story ''Single Night'' by Louis Bromfield, with West allowed to contribute to her lines of dialogue. Although ''Night After Night'' is not a comedy film, comedy, it has many comedic moments, especially with the comic relief of West, who plays a supporting role in her screen debut. Allan Havey (born September 19, 1954) is an American stand-up comic and actor. He started his career as a comedian in New York City in 1981. Overview Havey made his national debut in 1986 on '' Late Night with David Letterman'' and made many appearances on the show throughout the 1980s and 1990s. When Letterman left NBC for CBS after not being chosen to replace Johnny Carson as host of ''The Tonight Show'', Havey was one of several comedians considered by NBC to replace Letterman. She rose to popularity in 2004 after her participation in the Norwegian TV2 program '' Idol: Jakten på en superstjerne'', the Norwegian version of ''Pop Idol'', in which she placed fourth. ''Hide from the Sun'' is the sixth studio album by the Finnish rock band The Rasmus. It was originally released in mainland Europe, the United Kingdom, Scandinavia and Japan on 12 September 2005. It was later released in the United States on 10 October 2006, and featured a selection of B-side remixes and special edition bonus tracks. The US edition also included the previously unseen video for "Immortal". The name "Hide from the Sun" is a quotation from the song "Dead Promises". The album cover was painted by guitarist Pauli Rantasalmi. It received Platinum status in Finland and sold more than 15,000 in the UK and 20,000 in the US. Overall the album has sold over 500,000 copies worldwide.
