Nigeria National Futsal Team
The Nigeria national futsal team represents Nigeria in international futsal competitions and is controlled by the Futsal Commission of the Nigeria Football Federation. Nigeria have played in one edition of the Africa Futsal Cup of Nations after making their debut at the 2008 edition of the tournament where they were eliminated in the first round. Nigeria has also played in the FIFA Futsal World Cup making their debut on the international stage in 1992 where they were eliminated in the group stage after losing all three of their matches (to Argentina, Poland and host country Hong Kong respectively). Nigeria Football Federation
The Nigeria Football Federation (known as Nigeria Football Association until 2008) is Nigeria's football governing body. It was formally launched in 1945 and formed the first Nigerian national football team in 1949. It joined CAF in 1959 and FIFA in 1960. The NFF headquarters is located in the city of Abuja. As of 2008 it organises three leagues: The Nigerian Premier League, the Amateur League and the Women's League, and five competitions, including the Federation Cup and Women's Cup. 1989 FIFA Futsal World Championship
The 1989 FIFA Futsal World Championship was the first ever FIFA Futsal World Championship, the quadrennial international futsal championship contested by the men's national teams of the member associations of FIFA. It was held between 5 and 15 January 1989 in the Netherlands. It was the first non-Olympic FIFA tournament held in the country. Brazil won the tournament. Participants 16 countries were invited to participate to the tournament. 6 from Europe, 3 from South America, 2 from North America, Africa and Asia respectively and 1 from Oceania. Venues Holland has many hundreds of sports halls. The KNVB's organizing committee has picked five of the largest and most attractive as the venues for the 1st FIFA World Championship for Five-A-Side Football.

2016 Africa Futsal Cup Of Nations
The 2016 Africa Futsal Cup of Nations was the 5th edition of the Africa Futsal Cup of Nations, the quadrennial international futsal championship organised by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for the men's national teams of Africa. The tournament was held in South Africa between 15–24 April 2016. A total of eight teams played in the tournament. Same as previous editions, the tournament acted as the CAF qualifiers for the FIFA Futsal World Cup (except for 2012 when a 2012 FIFA Futsal World Cup qualification (CAF), separate qualifying tournament was organized as the 2011 African Futsal Championship was cancelled). The top three teams of the tournament qualified for the 2016 FIFA Futsal World Cup in Colombia as the CAF representatives. 2011 African Futsal Championship
The 2011 African Futsal Championship was the 4th edition of this tournament which took place on 3–17 April 2011 in Burkina Faso, but the tournament was ultimately cancelled. Qualified nations Burkina Faso was an automatic qualifier as the host country. Libya also received an automatic berth for winning the previous edition. Draw The draw was scheduled to take place on 9 October 2010 but was postponed till further notice. The Confederation of African Football announced that the 2011 Futsal Championship has been cancelled. Burkina Faso withdrew from hosting the event which was meant to start at the beginning of April and a replacement could not be found therefore the championship wasn't held. A separate qualifying tournament was organized for qualification to the 2012 FIFA Futsal World Cup. 2020 FIFA Futsal World Cup
The 2021 FIFA Futsal World Cup was the ninth edition of the FIFA Futsal World Cup, the quadrennial international futsal championship contested by the men's national teams of the member associations of FIFA. The tournament was held in Lithuania. It marked the first FIFA tournament ever hosted by Lithuania and the third Futsal World Cup hosted in Europe; the others being 1989 in the Netherlands and 1996 in Spain. The tournament was originally scheduled to be held from 12 September to 4 October 2020 as the 2020 FIFA Futsal World Cup. The 2016 FIFA Futsal World Cup was the eighth FIFA Futsal World Cup, the quadrennial international futsal championship contested by the men's national teams of the member associations of FIFA. The 2012 FIFA Futsal World Cup was the seventh FIFA Futsal World Cup, the quadrennial international futsal championship contested by the men's national teams of the member associations of FIFA.
