Nigel Paterson
Nigel Paterson is a Primetime Emmy Award-winning British television writer, director and producer. Biography Paterson began his career at the BBC as part of the production team on the 2001 series ''Walking with Beasts'' for which he shared the 2002 Primetime Emmy Award for Animated Program – More Than One Hour. He co-wrote and co-directed the 2006 series '' Nuremberg: Nazis on Trial'' that re-enacted the Nuremberg Trials of prominent Nazi war criminals. He directed and produced the 2007 ''Wolof Wrestling'' episode of the series ''Last Man Standing''. The Primetime Emmy Awards, or Primetime Emmys, are part of the extensive range of Emmy Awards for artistic and technical merit for the American television industry. Bestowed by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (ATAS), the Primetime Emmys are presented in recognition of excellence in American primetime television programming. ''Planet Dinosaur'', is a six-part documentary television series created by Nigel Paterson and Phil Dobree, produced by the BBC, and narrated by John Hurt. It first aired in the United Kingdom in 2011, with VFX studio Jellyfish Pictures as its producer. It was the first major dinosaur-related series for BBC One since ''Walking with Dinosaurs''. There are more than 50 different prehistoric species featured, and they and their environments were created entirely as computer-generated images, for around a third of the production cost that was needed a decade earlier for ''Walking with Dinosaurs''. ''James May's Big Ideas'' is a three-part British television miniseries in which James May, a journalist and self-acknowledged geek travels the globe in search of implementations for concepts widely considered science fiction, or his ''big ideas''. Last Man Standing (UK TV Series)
''Last Man Standing'' and latterly ''Last Woman Standing'' (known in the United States as ''Last One Standing'' and also known by the Discovery Channel title of ''Six Versus the World'') is a BBC reality TV show that was first aired on 26 June 2007.
