Nigel Justice
Nigel Justice (born 29 August 1956) is an English former professional darts player who played in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Career Justice played in three PDC World Darts Championships between 1996 and 2001, with his best run being to the last 16 in 2000, before losing to Shayne Burgess. He also reached the quarter-finals of the 1995 World Matchplay after beating Jef Scheyltjens and Jocky Wilson. He lost to Cliff Lazarenko Cliff Lazarenko (born 16 March 1952) is an English former professional darts player. Nicknamed "Big Cliff" due to his height (193 cm / 6'4") and weight (over 127 kg at his peak), he is known for being a colourful character on and off the stage .... Cippenham
Cippenham is a suburb of Slough. Close by are the neighbouring towns and villages of Beaconsfield, Farnham Common, Burnham, Gerrards Cross, Stoke Poges, Windsor and Taplow. Originally part of the parish of Burnham in the county of Buckinghamshire, England, Cippenham was transferred to Slough in 1930, and therefore transferred to Berkshire in 1974. Slough became a unitary authority on 1 April 1998, when Berkshire County Council and the 1973–1998 Borough were abolished. Toponymy The name Cippenham derives from the Old English ''Cippan-ham'', meaning ''Cippa's homestead''. 2003 UK Open Darts
The 2003 Sky Bet UK Open was the first edition of the UK Open darts tournament organised by the Professional Darts Corporation. The tournament was held at the Reebok Stadium in Bolton, England between 30 May–1 June 2003. The tournament was unique as it had no Seed (sports), seeding, and was won by Phil Taylor (darts player), Phil Taylor who defeated Shayne Burgess in the final 18–8 in legs. Phil Taylor (darts Player)
Philip Douglas Taylor (born 13 August 1960) is an English former professional darts player, widely considered the greatest darts player of all time. Nicknamed The Power, he dominated darts for over two decades and won 214 professional tournaments, including a record 85 major titles and a record 16 World Championships. In 2015, the BBC rated Taylor among the ten greatest British sportsmen of the last 35 years. Taylor won eight consecutive World Championships from 1995 to 2002, reached 14 consecutive finals from 1994 to 2007 and reached 21 world finals overall, all of which are records. He held the world number one ranking for thirteen years in total, including eight in a row from 2006–2013. Rod Harrington
Rodney Harrington (born 30 December 1957) is an English former professional darts player and former commentator. He used the nickname "The Prince of Style" for his matches, often wearing a suit and waistcoat for his games. Harrington enjoyed some major success during his professional career including the prestigious Winmau World Masters in 1991 and two successive World Matchplays in 1998 and 1999. At the PDC Awards Dinner held in January 2019, Harrington was inducted into the PDC Hall of Fame. Larry Thomas Butler (born July 21, 1957), nicknamed The Bald Eagle, is an American professional darts player who was the winner of the 1994 PDC World Matchplay Darts Championship. This success made him the first and so far only American player to have won a major darts tournament in Europe. Butler also had some success in his home country, winning the 1993, 1994, 1995 New York Open, the 1994 Darts America Championship, the 1991, 1992, 1993 World Bullshooter Championship, and the 1991, 1992, 1994, 1995 Cincinnati Spring Fling Open. Berkshire
Berkshire ( ; in the 17th century sometimes spelt phonetically as Barkeshire; abbreviated Berks.) is a historic county in South East England. Jocky Wilson
John Thomas "Jocky" Wilson (22 March 1950 – 24 March 2012) was a Scottish professional darts player. After turning pro in 1979, he quickly rose to the top of the game, winning the World Professional Darts Championship in 1982, then again in 1989. Wilson competed in all major darts tournaments of the era and won the British Professional Championship a record four times between 1981 and 1988. A contemporary and rival of Eric Bristow, Bob Anderson and John Lowe, Wilson's ungainly appearance and rough-hewn lifestyle belied his prowess in the sport. He was dogged by health problems, however, and suddenly retired from the game in December 1995. He withdrew from public life, and was rarely seen in public or gave interviews before his death in March 2012.
