Nigel Frieda
Nigel Quentin Frieda (born August 1952) is a British record producer, property owner of the Osea Island in the estuary of the River Blackwater, Essex. Early life Nigel Quentin Frieda was born the son of Isidore Frieda, a Jewish hairdresser, salon and property owner, and an Irish Catholic mother. His elder brother is the hairdresser John Frieda. Career Frieda founded/launched the pop group the Sugababes. He runs London's Matrix Studio and has also produced The Rolling Stones. Sugababes
Sugababes are a British girl group composed of Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhán Donaghy. The lineup changed three times before returning to the original lineup in 2011. Formed in 1998 by All Saints manager Ron Tom, Sugababes released their debut album '' One Touch'' through London Records in November 2000, which achieved moderate success and produced the top-ten single " Overload". In 2001, Donaghy departed the group and was replaced by Heidi Range. The Rolling Stones

John Frieda (born Alan Howard Frieda, 9 July 1951) is a British celebrity hairstylist and founder of hair salon and hair product businesses. The hair product business was acquired in 2002 by Kao Corporation, Japan. Early life Frieda was born in London. His father was Isidore Frieda, a salon and property owner, and his mother was Hannah Mary Docherty. He has three siblings, including Nigel Frieda, a music producer, and the owner of Osea Island, Essex. Frieda attended private school, King's School, Harrow, and worked part-time at his father's salon as a high school student. Isidore mentored John and invested in his early ventures. Osea Island
Osea Island ( oe, Ōsgȳþes īeg, "Osyth's island"), formerly also Osey, is an inhabited island in the estuary of the River Blackwater, Essex, East England. It is approximately in size and is connected to the north bank of the river by a causeway, covered at high water. The population of the Island is included in the civil parish of Heybridge. Northey Island lies about a mile to the west and Mersea Island is about five miles to the north east. The entire island is owned by music producer Nigel Frieda. Blackwater Estuary
The Blackwater Estuary is the estuary of the River Blackwater between Maldon and West Mersea in Essex. It is a 5,538 hectare biological Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). An area of 4,395 hectares is also designated a Ramsar Wetland of International Importance, and a Special Protection Area 1,099 hectares is a National Nature Reserve. Tollesbury Wick and part of Abbotts Hall Farm, both nature reserve managed by the Essex Wildlife Trust, are in the SSSI. Oysters have been harvested from the estuary for more than a thousand years and there are remains of fish weirs from the Anglo-Saxon era. At the head of the estuary is the town of Maldon, which is a centre of salt production. The other major settlement is the town West Mersea, of Mersea Island, on the northern seaward side. The Causeway Retreat
The Causeway Retreat was an addiction treatment centre located on Osea Island near Essex, England, which operated from 2005 to 2010. History In 1903, Frederick Nicholas Charrington, who had disinherited himself from his family's brewing business and become a prominent temperance campaigner in London's East End, purchased an island off the coast of Maldon, Essex called Osea Island. During Mr. Charrington's time, the island provided free treatment to those individuals suffering from the ill effects of alcohol and opiate addiction. In return for treatment, clients would remain on the island and work the land. The island was eventually requisitioned by the Admiralty and subsequently turned into a top secret torpedo manufacturing base for both World Wars.
