Nigel Fiegert
Nigel Fiegert (born 28 January 1976) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Port Adelaide in the Australian Football League (AFL). A defender, Fiegert was a foundation player for Port Adelaide, signed up as one of their zone selections in the 1996 AFL Draft. He missed selection for Port Adelaide's round one fixture but made his debut the following week in their first ever game at Football Park, against Essendon. Not selected for the next nine weeks, Fiegert kicked three goals on his return, playing as a forward against the Western Bulldogs. He played just two more games that year and the following year only appeared in the first half of the season. After playing in the opening five rounds of the 1999 AFL season, Fiegert wasn't picked again and was delisted at the end of the year. The 1999 AFL season was the 103rd season of the Australian Football League (AFL), the highest level senior Australian rules football competition in Australia, which was known as the Victorian Football League until 1989. The Kowree-Naracoorte-Tatiara Football League is an Australian rules football competition based in the Limestone Coast region of South Australia, Australia. It is an affiliated member of the South Australian National Football League. One unusual aspect of the league is that it includes clubs from both South Australia and Victoria. Western Bulldogs
The Western Bulldogs are a professional Australian rules football team that competes in the Australian Football League (AFL), the sport's premier competition. Founded in 1877 as the Footscray Football Club, and based in West Footscray in the old City of Footscray west of Melbourne, the club won nine premierships in the Victorian Football Association (VFA) before gaining admission to the Victorian Football League (which became the AFL in 1990) in 1925. The Essendon Football Club, nicknamed the Bombers, is a professional Australian rules football club. The club plays in the Australian Football League (AFL), the game's premier competition. The club was formed by the McCracken family in their Ascot Vale, Victoria, Ascot Vale home "Alisa", and while the exact date is unknown, it is generally accepted to have been in 1872. Football Park, known commercially as AAMI Stadium, was an Australian rules football stadium located in West Lakes, South Australia, West Lakes, a western suburb of Adelaide, the state capital of South Australia, Australia. It was built in 1973 by the South Australian National Football League (SANFL) and opened in 1974.
