Niels Lunde
Niels Lunde (born 31 October 1962) is a Danish writer and columnist on business and economic issues. He is now writing columns and analysis in the Danish morning daily Politiken and frequently appears on financial issues on national television broadcaster TV 2 (Denmark), TV2 News. Biography Niels Lunde holds a master in Political Science from the University of Aarhus and worked as a consultant for Danish Employer's Confederation 1988-94. He later became a reporter on economic issues at the Danish morning daily Berlingske Tidende in 1995. In 1998 Niels Lunde became business editor, he became editor in 1999 and 2002-2007 he was Editor-in-Chief and Director. Niels Lunde graduated in 2000 from World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers, WAN's Leaders 2000 and in 2005 from Norwegian Orkla Group, Orkla's Senior Management Programme. ''Politiken'' is a leading Danish daily broadsheet newspaper, published by JP/Politikens Hus in Copenhagen, Denmark. It was founded in 1884 and played a role in the formation of the Danish Social Liberal Party. Since 1970 it has been independent of the party but maintains a liberal stance. TV 2 (Denmark)
TV 2 (''TV to'') is a Danish government-owned broadcast and subscription television station in Denmark based in Odense, Funen. History Since 1949, Danmarks Radio had been the sole provider of television in Denmark. Wanting to end the monopoly, the Danish Parliament voted on 30 May 1986, to create TV2, as a second choice for public service television. Upon its establishment, it had first begun its experimental test transmissions, and then, two years later, it had therefore commenced its official broadcast on 1 October 1988, with its first program being ''Danish Symphony'' which is broadcast at 17:00, followed by the news at 19:30. Subscription and overseas availability From 1 November 2009, all Danish television broadcasting became digital with DVB-T and MPEG4 standard. ''Berlingske'', previously known as ''Berlingske Tidende'' (, ''Berling's Times''), is a Danish national daily newspaper based in Copenhagen. It is considered a newspaper of record for Denmark. First published on 3 January 1749, ''Berlingske'' is Denmark's, as well as the Nordic region's, oldest continually operating newspaper and among the oldest newspapers in the world. History and profile ''Berlingske'' was founded by Denmark's Royal Book Printer Ernst Henrich Berling and originally titled ''Kjøbenhavnske Danske Post-Tidender'', then the ''Berlingskes Politiske og Avertissements Tidende.'' The World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers (WAN-IFRA) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization made up of 76 national newspaper associations, 12 news agencies, 10 regional press organisations, and many individual newspaper executives in 100 countries. The association was founded in 1948, and, as of 2011, represented more than 18,000 publications globally. The Danish Defence Intelligence Service, DDIS ( da, Forsvarets Efterretningstjeneste, FE), is a Danish intelligence agency, responsible for Denmark’s foreign intelligence, as well as being the Danish military intelligence service. DDIS is an agency under the Ministry of Defence and works under the responsibility of the Minister of Defence. It is housed at Kastellet, Copenhagen. David Montgomery (born 6 November 1948) is a Northern Irish media executive, proprietor and media investor. He has also edited two tabloid newspapers during the course of his career.
