Nie Weiguo
Nie Weiguo (; born August 1952) is a Chinese politician. He is the director of the Engineering Oversight Office of the Three Gorges Dam project. Nie has occupied numerous Chinese Communist Party positions in Sichuan and Chongqing. He received a degree in political economics from the Central Party School in 1996. From 2005 to 2010, Nie was the political commissar of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps. The Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party, officially the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, is a political body that comprises the top leaders of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). It is currently composed of 205 full members and 171 alternate members (see list). Members are nominally elected once every five years by the National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party. Che Jun (; born July 1955) is a Chinese politician, serving since 2017 as the Communist Party Secretary of Zhejiang. Between 2016 and 2017, he served as Politics of Zhejiang, Governor of Zhejiang. Che began his career in Anhui province, and rose to prominence taking charge of Shijiazhuang in the aftermath of the Chinese milk scandal and being dispatched to Xinjiang following the July 2009 Ürümqi riots. The 18th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party was elected by the 18th National Congress on 15 November 2012, and sat in plenary sessions until the communing of the 19th National Congress in 2017. It was formally proceeded by the 17th Central Committee. The committee is composed of full members and alternate members. A member has voting rights, while an alternate does not. If a full member is removed from the CC the vacancy is then filled by an alternate member at the next committee plenum — the alternate member who received the most confirmation votes in favour is highest on the order of precedence.
