Nidji
Nidji is an Indonesian rock band based in Jakarta. Formed in February 2002, Nidji's name comes from the Japanese word ''niji'' (虹), meaning "rainbow". The band's music can be classified under the alternative pop genre, and the band has cited Coldplay and The Killers as major influences. The band currently consists of Yusuf Ubay (vocals/saxophone), Andro Regantoro (bass), Randy Danistha (keyboards/synthesizers), Ramadhista Akbar and Andi Ariel Harsya (guitars), and Adri Prakarsa (drums). Giring Ganesha
Giring Ganesha Djumaryo (born 14 July 1983) is an Indonesian vocalist and political activist. He is a former lead singer of the Indonesian rock band, Nidji. On 31 December 2017, he announced his resignation as Nidji's lead vocalist in order to focus on his political journey. Giring is the Chairman of Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI). He was previously Acting Chairman to cover for Grace Natalie while she pursued her master's degree. Biography Giring Ganesha Djumaryo was born in Jakarta on 14 July 1983 he is a Muslim. Nazril Irham (born September 16, 1981), known professionally as Ariel or Ariel "Noah", is an Indonesian musician, singer and songwriter of Minangkabau ancestry. He is the lead singer of Indonesian band Noah, formerly known as Peterpan. Ariel founded Peterpan in Bandung in 2000 with Andika, Indra, Lukman, Reza, and Uki. Side Project
In popular music, a side project is a project undertaken by one or more people already known for their involvement in another band. It can also be an artist or a band temporarily switching to a different style. Usually these projects emphasize a different aspect of that person's or that band's musical interests that they feel they cannot explore within the boundaries established by their main project. Side projects can later become full-time endeavours, but should not be confused with quitting a band for a solo career or another band. Noah (formerly known as Peterpan; and later stylized as NOAH) is an Indonesian rock band formed as Peterpan in Bandung, West Java in 2000, which consisted of six members: Ariel, Andika, Indra, Lukman, Reza and Uki, with Ariel as the leader. Most of their lyrics are written by Ariel, who is the band's lead vocalist. The band currently consists of only three members remaining; Ariel, Lukman, and David. ''Pikiran Rakyat'' ( Indonesian: ''People's Thought'') is a daily newspaper published in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. Its circulation covers West Java and Banten Province. The eighth season of Indonesian Idol, also known as ''Indonesian Idol 2014: A Decade of Dreams'', premiered on RCTI on December 27, 2013. Anang Hermansyah and Ahmad Dhani returned as the judges. Agnes Monica was replaced by Tantri of Kotak, and Titi DJ, who returned to the show for her sixth season after her absence in season 6 and 7. Raisa and Indra Lesmana replace Titi and Anang during the Yogyakarta auditions. Later during the Spectacular weeks, Raisa replaced Titi during the Top 9 performances and Tantri during the Top 5.
