Nicolás Sánchez (rugby Union)
Federico Nicolás Sánchez (born October 26, 1988), is an Argentine rugby union player. He plays as a fly-half for CA Brive in the Top 14 in France. Sánchez played for Pampas XV at the 2011 Vodacom Cup (winning this tournament) in South Africa. He moved to Bordeaux in the Top 14 in France, where he played from 2011/12 to 2013/14. He also played for RC Toulonnais from 2014 to 2015. On 14 November 2020, in Argentina's first victory over New Zealand, Sánchez scored all twenty-five of Argentina's points scored (25–15) in the 2020 Tri Nations Series at Western Sydney Stadium, Sydney. He became the third highest-scoring player against New Zealand in a single-match, behind Morné Steyn's 31 points in 2009 and Christophe Lamaison's 28 points in the 1999 Rugby World Cup. San Miguel De Tucumán
San Miguel de Tucumán (; usually called simply Tucumán) is the capital and largest city of Tucumán Province, located in northern Argentina from Buenos Aires. 2011 Vodacom Cup
The 2011 Vodacom Cup was contested from 25 February to 13 May 2011. The tournament was the 14th edition of the Vodacom Cup, an annual domestic South African rugby union competition, and was played between the fourteen provincial teams in South Africa, as well as Namibian side and Argentine side . The tournament was won by for the first time; they beat the 14–9 in the final played on 13 May 2011. Competition rules and information Sixteen teams participated in the 2011 Vodacom Cup competition. 1999 Rugby World Cup
The 1999 Rugby World Cup was the fourth Rugby World Cup, the quadrennial international rugby union championship. It was principally hosted by Wales, and was won by Australia. This was the first Rugby World Cup to be held in the sport's professional era. Although the majority of matches were played outside Wales (shared between England, France, Scotland and Ireland) the opening ceremony, the first match and the final were held in Cardiff. Four automatic qualification places were available for the 1999 tournament; Wales qualified automatically as hosts, and the other three places went to the top three teams from the previous World Cup in 1995: champions South Africa, runners-up New Zealand and third-placed France. Christophe Lamaison
Christophe "Titou" Lamaison (born 8 April 1971) is a former French rugby union footballer who represented France at international level, and Brive, Agen and Aviron Bayonnais at professional club level. He won 37 caps, and at the time of his retirement was the all-time leading points scorer for France, with 380 points, a mark surpassed in August 2015 by Frédéric Michalak. Lamaison played most of his rugby as a centre, and possessed reliable distribution and kicking skills, which made up for his only real weakness, a lack of pace. He could also play at fly-half. He made his international debut against South Africa on 30 November 1996 in Paris, and rose to prominence as a key member of France's Grand slam-winning sides of 1997 and 1998. 2009 Tri Nations Series
The 2009 Tri Nations Series was the fourteenth annual Tri Nations rugby union series between the national rugby union teams of New Zealand, Australia and South Africa, respectively nicknamed the All Blacks, Wallabies, and Springboks. The Springboks secured the season crown in their final match on 12 September, defeating the defending series champion All Blacks 32–29 in Hamilton. Morné Steyn (born 11 July 1984) is a South African rugby union player who plays as a fly-half for the Bulls and played for the South Africa national team, up until his retirement from international test rugby in October 2021. Steyn has won an Under-21 World Cup, three Currie Cups, three Super Rugby titles, one Super Rugby unlocked, one Tri-Nations, one French Top 14 title and two British and Irish Lions series. Playing career With the Bulls, he was a member of the team that won Super Rugby in 2007, 2009 and 2010. In 2009 and 2010, he was the leading point scorer in the league.
