Nicole Gibbs
Nicole Gibbs (born March 3, 1993) is an American retired tennis player. She won seven singles and five doubles titles on the ITF Circuit. On 25 July 2016, she reached her best singles ranking of world No. 68. On 19 September 2016, she peaked at No. 107 in the WTA doubles rankings. Gibbs graduated in 2010 from Crossroads School in Santa Monica, California, and from Stanford University in 2014. Career College Gibbs was the top player in both singles and doubles for the Stanford women's team. As a collegiate sophomore, Gibbs was named 2012 recipient of the Honda Sports Award for tennis. Her selection by the Collegiate Women Sports Awards program recognized Gibbs as the country's top junior female player in her sport. Petra Kvitová, OLY ( , ; born 8 March 1990) is a Czech professional tennis player. Known for her powerful left-handed groundstrokes and variety, Kvitová has won 29 career singles titles, including two major titles at Wimbledon in 2011 and in 2014. The US Open Tennis Championships is a hardcourt tennis tournament held annually in Queens, New York. Keri Phebus (born May 1, 1974) is a professional tennis player from the United States. During her pro career from 1991 to 1998, she won five titles on the ITF Women's Circuit, received a wildcard entry and won her first round match at the 1995 US Open. Phebus is the most decorated player in the history of UCLA women's tennis. Early career While a student at Corona del Mar High School, Phebus was the nation's top-ranked girl in juniors for multiple seasons. College While at UCLA, she won the Honda Sports Award as the nation's best female tennis player in 1995.
