Nicolas Viola
Benito Nicolas Viola (born 12 October 1989) is an Italian footballer who plays as a midfielder for club Cagliari. He is the older brother of fellow footballer Alessio Viola. Career Reggina Viola was born in Oppido Mamertina, in the same province of Reggina Calcio. Viola made his Serie A debut for Reggina on 11 January 2009 against S.S. Lazio. He also played twice at 2008–09 Coppa Italia. Palermo On 30 January 2012, Palermo announced to have purchased Viola from Reggina in a co-ownership agreement with the club, for €1.8 million in a -year contract. The player would stay on loan at Reggina until the end of the 2011–12 Serie B season. Ternana On 1 July 2013, Ternana acquired Viola from Reggina, with Palermo retained the 50% registration rights. Oppido Mamertina
Oppido Mamertina ( el, label=Calabrian Greek, script=Latn, Oppidù, ) is a town and ''comune'' of the province of Reggio Calabria in Calabria in southern Italy at about northeast of Reggio Calabria and about southwest of Catanzaro. It is the seat of the Diocese of Oppido Mamertina. The municipality includes the following boroughs (''frazioni''): Castellace, Messignadi, Piminoro, and Tresilico. History The ancient history of the town is largely unknown, but archeological excavations in Mella might point its origins to the mythical Mamerto (3rd century BC – 1st century AD). The 2011–12 Serie B (known as the Serie bwin for sponsorship reasons) was the eightieth season since its establishment in 1929. A total of 22 teams will contest the league: 15 of which returning from the 2010–11 season, four of which promoted from Lega Pro Prima Divisione, and three relegated from Serie A. It began on 27 August 2011 and ended on 27 May 2012.
