Nicolaj Thomsen
Nicolaj Thomsen (born 8 May 1993) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Danish 2nd Division club B.93. Thomsen was born in Skagen and played youth football with Skagen IK and Frederikshavn fI before starting his professional career with AaB. After moving to French Ligue 1 club FC Nantes in 2016, he had a four-year stint with FC Copenhagen. Thomsen moved to Norwegian club Vålerenga in 2021, before returning to Denmark again, signing with SønderjyskE in January 2022. Thomsen has won one cap with the Denmark national team. AaB, (full name: ''Aalborg Boldspilklub'', ) internationally referred to as Aalborg BK, or sometimes also known as AaB Aalborg, is a professional football team located in Aalborg. FC Midtjylland (, "Central Jutland") is a Danish professional football club based in Herning and Ikast in the western part of Jutland. The club is the result of a merger between Ikast FS and Herning Fremad. Midtjylland competes in the Danish Superliga, which they have won three times, most recently in 2020. Stefan Gartenmann (born 2 February 1997) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Scottish Premiership club Aberdeen, on loan from Danish Superliga club Midtjylland. Amblyopia
Amblyopia, also called lazy eye, is a disorder of sight in which the brain fails to fully process input from one eye and over time favors the other eye. It results in decreased vision in an eye that typically appears normal in other aspects. Amblyopia is the most common cause of decreased vision in a single eye among children and younger adults. The cause of amblyopia can be any condition that interferes with focusing during early childhood. This can occur from poor alignment of the eyes (strabismic), an eye being irregularly shaped such that focusing is difficult, one eye being more nearsighted or farsighted than the other (refractive), or clouding of the lens of an eye (deprivational). After the underlying cause is addressed, vision is not restored right away, as the mechanism also involves the brain.
