Nicolae Robu
Nicolae Robu (born May 28, 1955) is a Romanian politician, engineer, computer science professor. He was mayor of Timișoara from 2012 until 2020 and the former president of PNL Timiș. He served as rector of the Politehnica University of Timișoara from 2004 to 2012 and prorector from 1990 to 2000 and sat in the Senate for Timiș County from 2008 to 2012. This is a list of mayors of Timișoara from 1718, when Banat, including Timișoara, were incorporated into the Kingdom of Hungary, to the present day when it is part of Romania.
