Nico Baracchi
Nico Baracchi (April 19, 1957 – March 24, 2015) was a Switzerland, Swiss bobsledder and Skeleton (sport), skeleton racer who competed from the early 1980s to the late 1990s. He won two silver medals at the FIBT World Championships with his first in skeleton at St. Moritz in FIBT World Championships 1982, 1982 and his second in bobsleigh's four-man event at Cortina d'Ampezzo in FIBT World Championships 1989, 1989. Baracchi died on March 24, 2015, at the age of 57 in his home of Celerina, Switzerland. Barrachi's best finish in the List of Bobsleigh World Cup champions, Bobsleigh World Cup was third in 1988-9, both in the combined men's and two-man events. When skeleton was reintroduced as a sport in 1989, Baracchi tried to regain his success in the early 1980s, but without much success. Nico Broekhuysen
Nicolaas Broekhuijsen (; Dordrecht, December 30, 1876 – Hilversum May 13, 1958), better known as Nico Broekhuysen, was a Dutch teacher, who is known as the inventor of korfball. He was a teacher at Oisterwijk and later Nijmegen and then Amsterdam where he taught at the new school association. In 1902, he went to the Swedish village near Nääs Castle for a course. There he saw the game ring boll played. This game was played with mixed gender teams. The ball had to be thrown through a ring on a three-meter high pole. The field was divided into three sections, where players were allowed to come out. At home in Amsterdam, Broekhuysen showed his students a similar game. The rules have been simplified and the ring was replaced by a basket. The first game was played on a vacant lot at the Jan Luykenstraat. Nico van Breemen (born 9 July 1942) is a Dutch soil scientist. He was a professor of pedogenesis at Wageningen University and Research Centre between 1986 and 2004. Career Van Breemen was born in Haarlem on 9 July 1942. He obtained a degree in soil science and soil chemistry in 1968. He obtained his doctorate at Wageningen University in 1976. His thesis was titled :"Genesis and solution chemistry of acid sulfate soils in Thailand". Between 1986 and 2004 he was a professor of pedogenesis at Wageningen University. In 1982, Van Breemen's self acclaimed most important paper was published in ''Nature''. Nicolaas Jan Jerôme "Nico" Bouvij (11 July 1892 – 14 June 1957) was a Dutch amateur football player who competed in the 1912 Summer Olympics. Club career Bouvy was born in Banda Neira, Banda Islands. He started playing football at DFC, playing alongside his three brothers. He made his senior debut in 1910, had a season in Germany with Altona 1893 Hamburg and played the remainder of his career for HFC. In May 1924, when Victoria Hamburg played Cardiff City in a friendly (2–2), Nico Bouvy was invited to strengthen Vicky´s side which he did under a special DFB one-off licence. His brother, Dolf Bouvy, had been a regular Victoria player in 1906. He died in The Hague, Netherlands. International career Bouvy made his debut for the Netherlands in a March 1912 friendly match against England and earned a total of nine caps, scoring four goals.

Nico Boje ( ; born 20 March 1973) is a South African former cricketer who played in 43 Tests, 115 One Day Internationals and single Twenty20 International for South Africa. Nicolaas Bloembergen (March 11, 1920 – September 5, 2017) was a Dutch-American physicist and Nobel laureate, recognized for his work in developing driving principles behind nonlinear optics for laser spectroscopy. During his career, he was a professor at Harvard University and later at the University of Arizona and at Leiden University in 1973 (as Lorentz Professor). Bloembergen shared the 1981 Nobel Prize in Physics along with Arthur Schawlow and Kai Siegbahn because their work "has had a profound effect on our present knowledge of the constitution of matter" through the use of laser spectroscopy.
