Nicktoons (Sub-Saharan African TV Channel)
Nicktoons is a South African pay television channel that was launched on 30 September 2014. It is owned by Paramount Networks EMEAA, and is children's interest channel, targeted towards children, broadcasting reruns of original animated series from sister network Nickelodeon (African TV channel), Nickelodeon along with other cartoons. It replaced the African feed of KidsCo, North Africa receives the Arabic-Language feed of the channel Nicktoons (Middle Eastern and North African TV channel), Nicktoons MENA. Unlike other Nicktoons feeds (since October 2021), the end credits on shows are no longer shows and were not replaced with short credits used by its sister channels. The Kenya Film Classification Board (abbreviated as KFCB) is a state corporation that operates under the Government of Kenya whose mandate is to "regulate the creation, broadcasting, possession, distribution and exhibition of films by rating them." The Board was founded in 1963 with the commencement of the laws outlined in the Films and Stage Plays Act of 1962 (Section 11) and has since involved itself in the rating and classification of films and television programmes.
