Nick Van Der Lijke
Nick van der Lijke (born 23 September 1991) is a Dutch racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Continental team . Nick van der Lijke is married to Dutch former professional cyclist Nicky Zijlaard. When he didn't get a new contract for 2022, the couple took over the Zijlaard family business. A few months later they handed the Croissanterie back to Nicky's parents, and Nick got back to racing. His amateur successes lead to a new contract with who in 2023 merged with . Tour De Bretagne
Tour de Bretagne Cycliste, also known as the Tour de Bretagne trophée des granitiers and formerly known as Ruban Granitier Breton, is an annual early season professional cycling stage race held in late April and early May in Brittany, France. The race often acts as a show case for upcoming riders of the under 23 category who race together with Elite riders. The race was renamed Tour de Bretagne in 2005 when the race also became a professional race. The 2007 edition was dominated by Lars Boom and Edvald Boasson Hagen who both wore the leader's jersey and won stages of the race. The 2008 edition was dominated by the Rabobank team with defending champion Lars Boom and Coen Vermeltfoort winning two stages each. The Olympia's Tour is a cycling stage race held in the Netherlands. History A.S.C. Olympia was founded in Amsterdam on 27 November 1898. It ran one-day races but wanted a race through all the Netherlands. The first Olympia's Tour was in 1909, with three stages and one rest day. The second in 1910 went to Maastricht and Groningen. It was 17 years before the third race, partly because races on public roads were forbidden in the Netherlands during the First World War. An international field with 16 Germans, the champions of Switzerland and Luxembourg and around 40 Dutch riders left the Rembrandtplein on 17 August 1927. The Dutch were mainly amateurs, the Germans sponsored riders who rode for bicycle manufacturers such as Opel and Diamant which provided material and a support team.
