Nick Weiler-Babb
Nick Weiler-Babb (born December 12, 1995) is an American-born naturalized German professional basketball player for Bayern Munich of the German Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) and the EuroLeague. He played college basketball for Iowa State. Early life and high school career Weiler-Babb, born in Topeka, Kansas and moved to Texas when he was young. He is the son of Mike Babb, who owns Babb Brothers BBQ and Blues in Dallas, Texas. He is the younger brother of professional basketball player Chris Babb. Weiler-Babb attended Martin High School in Arlington, Texas. As a senior, he averaged 16 points, eight rebounds and eight assists per game. On August 11, 2013, Weiler-Babb committed to Arkansas over offers from SMU and Texas A&M. College career As a freshman, Weiler-Babb averaged 0.7 points and 0.8 rebounds per game in 4.7 minutes per game for the Razorbacks. Basketball Bundesliga
The Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) (English language: ''Federal Basketball League''), for sponsorship reasons named easyCredit BBL, is the highest level league of professional club basketball in Germany. The league comprises 18 teams. A BBL season is split into a league stage and a playoff stage. At the end of the league stage, the top eight teams qualify for the playoff stage, and the teams positioned in the 17th and 18th places are relegated to a lower-tier league. The playoffs are played in a "Best of five" format. The winning team of the final round are crowned the German Champions of that season. In addition to the league competition, all BBL teams compete for the German Basketball Cup. 2019 NBA Draft
The 2019 NBA draft was held on June 20, 2019. It took place at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. National Basketball Association (NBA) teams took turns selecting amateur United States college basketball players and other eligible players, including international players. Iowa State Cyclones
The Iowa State Cyclones are the intercollegiate athletic teams that represent Iowa State University, located in Ames. The university is a member of the Big 12 Conference and competes in NCAA Division I, fielding 16 varsity teams (6 men's and 10 women's teams) in 12 sports. The "Cyclones" name dates back to 1895. That year, Iowa suffered an unusually high number of devastating cyclones (as tornadoes were called at the time). In September, the football team from what was then Iowa Agricultural College traveled to Northwestern University and defeated that team by a score of 45–0. The Appalachian State Mountaineers men's basketball team is the college basketball team at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. The Mountaineers compete in the Sun Belt Conference after having competed in the Southern Conference from 1972 to 2014. The Texas A&M Aggies men's basketball team represents Texas A&M University in NCAA Division I college basketball. The Aggies compete in the Southeastern Conference.
