Nick Philip
Nick Philip (born in 1968 in London) is a graphic and multi-media artist and clothing designer based in San Francisco, California. Career As a teenager in London, Philip was a cut-and-paste artist active in the city's freestyle bicycle/skateboard subculture. In 1988, after moving to the United States, he founded Anarchic Adjustment, a "streetweare" clothing line geared to appeal to freestyle/skate, rave and techno consumers. Under the Anarchic label, Philip partnered with Alan Brown and Charles Uzzell Edwards. Philip created early Bay Area rave fliers.Darren KeastComputer World'. Mixmaster Morris (born Morris Gould, 30 December 1965) is an English electronica DJ and underground musician who has also recorded as The Irresistible Force. His work in the 1990s blended ambient music and chill-out influences with UK dance styles. Life and career Morris Gould was born in Brighton, Sussex, England, but grew up in Lincolnshire and was educated at Millfield in Somerset, and King's College London. Sun Electric are a German electronic music group, hailing from Berlin. Their first release was the single "O'Locco" on the Wau! Mr. Modo label in 1990, with numerous subsequent releases on the R&S / Apollo labels throughout the following decade. According to Philipp Sherburne, Sun Electric initially released "straight-ahead Frankfurt trance, but by the mid '90s they were masters of elastic rhythms and silvery leads. ''Amp'' was a music video program on MTV that aired from 1996 to 2001. It was aimed at the electronic music and rave crowd and was responsible for exposing many electronica acts to the mainstream. When co-creator Todd Mueller (who had worked on this with V. Owen Bush, Amy Finnerty and show co-creator Burle Avant) left the show in 1998, it was redubbed ''Amp 2.0''. The show aired some 46 episodes in total over its 6-year run. In its final two years, reruns were usually shown from earlier years. ''Amp'''s time slot was moved around quite a bit, but the show usually aired late at night or in the early morning hours on the weekend. Because of this late night time slot, the show developed a small but cult like following. T Power (born Marc Royal) is an English drum and bass producer from Bow, London. Originally starting his production career in the UK hardcore scene, he moved into jungle. He was signed to drum and bass/jungle record label Botchit and Scarper.
